How do I change between Off-Road and Snowmobile trails?
To change between Off-Road trails and Snowmobile trails, select the Off-Road Vehicle or Snowmobile icon in the upper-right-hand corner of your screen, as shown below.
When this is selected, you can toggle back and forth between Off-Road and Snowmobile trails.
How do I add a waypoint?
Read Waypoints on the Polaris App for instructions on adding a waypoint.
How do I change map orientation?
The RIDE COMMAND map can be oriented two ways.
North up (left) shows the map with the direction north always facing up. Course up (right) shows the map with your heading facing up, so the screen matches the direction you are traveling.
To change map orientation, use the navigation button in the left corner of the map page.
What do the different trail colors/patterns mean?
Each trail color corresponds to a type of trail. The legend below shows snowmobile trail classifications.
For Off-Road Vehicles, be sure to pay attention to the trail type to determine whether or not your vehicle is permitted for use on the trail.
How do I download a map for offline use?

How do I report inaccurate map and trail information?

1. Launch the Polaris App on your device and tap the Main Menu icon.
2. Select FEEDBACK.
3. From the options, select REPORT ISSUE.
4. Clearly and concisely describe the issue.
5. Make sure to tap MARK A SPOT ON THE MAP and provide the specific location.

1. Navigate to ridecommand.polaris.com.
2. Click on the Map menu item.
3. Within the Map window, click the Feedback tab in the lower right corner.
4. Enter your feedback and click the Submit button.

How do I track a ride?

How do I plan a ride?
Ride planning must be done from a computer. To instructions on planning a ride, read Planning and Uploading a Ride With RIDE COMMAND.
Will my planned ride offer turn-by-turn directions?
No, your planned ride will not offer turn-by-turn directions on the screen or via audio. To create a route with turn-by-turn directions, you must map out each turn. To learn how to do this, read Planning and Uploading a Ride With RIDE COMMAND.
How do I find my previously tracked rides?
Read Tracked Rides on the Polaris App for instructions on finding a previously tracked ride.
How do I extend or delete a tracked ride?
You cannot extend a ride once it has been saved, but you can delete a ride. Read Tracked Rides on the Polaris App for instructions on deleting a tracked ride.

How do I create a Group Ride?

How do I turn on weather radar?
To turn on weather radar, select the TOOLS button in the lower-right-hand corner of the map.
Toggle Radar Weather to the ON position.
Select the back arrow in the top-left corner of the screen when finished.
How do I turn on Points of Interest?
To enable Points of Interest, select the TOOLS icon in the lower-right-hand corner of the map.
Toggle Points of Interest to ON.
From this menu, you can also enable Group Ride, allow your map to display Satellite Maps, Tracked Rides, Planned Rides, Saved Places, Areas, Ride Areas and Dealerships, plus Gas, Food and Lodging.
How do I turn on Riding Conditions or help report riding conditions? (Snowmobile Trail mode only)
First, be sure that your map is displaying snowmobile trails. The SNOW button should be highlighted blue.
Select TOOLS in the lower-right-hand corner of the map.
Toggle the switch next to Snow Conditions to the ON position. Use the slider to select the timeframe of conditions you would like to be shown. Conditions reports displayed range from 2 hours to the past 7 days. Not all trails will have recently reported conditions.
To report conditions, Select REPORT CONDITIONS.
Move the black pin on the map to the location where you would like to report conditions. Select whether the trail was good, okay or bad, and leave additional comments if desired. Click SUBMIT when completed.
How do I turn on Snow Depth? (Snowmobile Trail mode only)
First, be sure that your map is displaying snowmobile trails. The SNOW button should be highlighted blue.
To turn Snow Depth on, select the TOOLS button in the lower-right-hand corner of the map.
Toggle the Snow Depth switch to ON.
Click the back arrow when finished.

Does the Polaris App use data?
Yes, the app will use your cell phone data.
Do I need to enable my location on my device?
Yes, your location needs to be enabled on your device just like it would if you were using another mapping application.
I'm having trouble logging in. What should I do?
First, make sure you are running the most recent version of the app. If not, update the app and try logging in again.
On Android® devices, check if Chromesm is your default phone browser. If not, set it as your default browser and try logging in again.
On iOS® devices, go to Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data. Make sure "Block All Cookies" is off and pop-ups are allowed. Try logging in again.
If you are still unable to log in, contact Owner Connections at 1-800-765-2747 with the following information:
1. Current app version. You can find this in the app by opening the Side Menu and going to Settings > About. The current version is displayed below the Privacy Policy link.
2. A description of what happens when you attempt to log in. Are you seeing a message that something went wrong, a redirect loop, an endless spinner or something else? If possible, record your screen while attempting a login.
3. Customer support may ask you for a diagnostic or bug report to better understand the issue. To do so, please follow these instructions.
