Rated 3 out of 5 by from Don't expect them to warranty a bad track Ordered with the Storm track. After 1 season of trail ridding in UP, half the lugs are damaged and studs are not damaged. Track seems to be de-laminating. Three other sleds that ride with me all year had zero damage. Polaris blamed it on conditions so I had to pay to replace the track. Not very happy. Sled over revs stock (8450). Had to purchase/install heavier weights. Tough to keep front track shock from bottoming out all the time while keeping a good ride in the stutters. Adjustments on the shocks are impossible to feel. Overall pretty happy with the sled. Runs strong and handles good but still steaming over the $$ I had to fork out recently.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thunderchild! Got sled Dec. 6/18. Gone the month of Jan. Still got 1400 miles. Got a ref lash at 900 miles. Flooded a couple of times. Flawless since then. Very hard to pull engine over at -30C. Took a while to figure out the suspension set up. Lots of trial and error. Works good now. Pulls very hard to 95 MPH and then finger walks to 108 MPH. Running boards could be a little more closed in. Too much slush and snow build up on the tunnel and covers my ax and chainsaw. Gonna fix that this summer. Great sled other wise. Northern Ontario, mostly bush trails and ungroomed lake running. 129" track works OK. Maybe 137" next time. Gotta get more miles on this one before that happens.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from 2019 Season Issues Have had several issue as listed below: 1) Both front walker evens adjustable shocks are defective and will be rebuilt in lieu of replaced. Had to ride 2/3rds of the season with the defective shocks. 2) Rear shock adjuster knob broke off due to lack of clearance between the adjuster knob and rails? 3) Electrical issues preventing full power to engine and consistent RPM readings on the display panel. Was told it was bad connector pins and was taken care of but the problem persists. Waiting for dealer to set up inspection and repairs?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's a Winner! I bought a 2019 Indy XC 800 in December 2018. I figured I would only use it for 1 winter and then get a 2020 850. I was so impressed with the sled that I held on to it when I got the 2020 XCR 850. The XC 800 is by far the best trail sled I have rode. It has about 1300 flawless miles on it now and I have no complaints. I recommend getting the Rox riser and 1.5 Storm track. My new 850 has great mid range snap and the motor is very smooth, but I feel the 800 H.O is a little more playful and has significant more low end punch than the 850. They are both very impressive.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice ride Well... start off good.. sled is comfortable rides nice lots of power but... sure would be nice if it lasted more than 150 miles... whoever put my sled together didn't tighten the nut on the water pump so it fell apart and caused all kinds of damage is the way I understand it. Not impressed. They are putting a whole new motor in it. I know it's probably a fluke thing that happened but it happened on 100% of the new polaris I have bought... this being my only....makes me think twice about buying another Polaris. Bummed I'm missing a couple of great weeks for riding.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun Factor I snowchecked a 2019 Indy XC 850 in 2018 and accumulated just shy of 3000 miles this past season. The strong majority of these miles came from groomed trails, but the rest came from playing on steep hills with deep snow. I was absolutely blown away by how this machine could handle the deep snow and trail even better. For me, this motor coupled with this track length and suspension, makes for the ultimate fun machine. Its quick, responsive in all ranges, and doesn't run out of power. I have another 2020 on its way, and so do several of my friends and family!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from swicthing to polaris I came off a 2017 ski doo gen 850 x and went to polaris because of the things ski doo is taking off of thier x packages and cost to add them as a extra. I like the polaris front end the most it tracks good, The power is about the same as ski doo but makes more noise getting there.The ride is good but not as good as ski doo and the ease of adjustments are more work. The footwells are too small my boots get wedged, the hand warmers do not light up and the gas miliage so far is not that good, time will tell. I put a mid windshield on at snowcheck but it is a cold sled will get another wider windshield. But all in all it seems to be a nice sled, fit and finish is excellent great powergood looks and handles well.Hope the gas miliage gets better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a ride!!! I usually don’t snowcheck first year production sled. Now I wish I hadn’t because I never wanted to go shorter then 137. It was still amazing how the 129 performed though. The only idea I had for the 2020 was the 137. But I found out later, you’d had the same idea!!! No golden ticket this year so I’ll have to be satisfied with my 129. Too bad that I couldn’t upload any photos. I still have my 2016 switchback pro-x with almost 7000km. My 850 got 3400 km last winter. Too bad spring came a month early. My annual mileage goal is 4000 -5000 km.
