Amanda is an extremely passionate woman in general, especially when it comes to snowmobiling. She was first introduced to the steep and deep in 2011 and has been chasing the snow-dream ever since. From the moment she fell in love with her sleds and the pretty white stuff, she has been riding, training, racing and up-skilling in every way possible. In 2013, she began to race RMSHA (Rocky Mountain Snowmobile Hillclimb Association) as a bucket list item. After two fantastic seasons, she hung up her racing helmet to attain her master’s degree. Since completing her Graduate Degree, Amanda finds solace while riding all the beautiful and difficult backcountry with the love of her life, as well as sharing her passion for the sport of snowmobiling with a plethora of other women and men.
Amanda is an experienced ambassador of the sport and has travelled across the US riding, racing and participating in snowmobile shows. The relationships gained from travelling and meeting folks throughout the sport have led to completely unforgettable experiences, and luckily, many of these experiences have developed through her focus on women in a male dominated sport. When she is not snowmobiling, Amanda makes her snowmobiling money by being an HR Manager for a large technology company. She loves to play with her puppy (Chloe), travel (anywhere new), cook (Gordan Ramsey style!), spend quality time with her family, and competing in other sports, especially soccer. Amanda is always ready to ride her beautiful Polaris, further evolve and share her technical skills, bring more and more woman into the sport of snowmobiling, create many new relationships with those in and out of the sport, all while laughing, loving and bonding over the steep and deep!
