Rated 5 out of 5 by from Truly my dream sled Such a powerful and easy todrive ride...best sled ever created
Date published: 2020-08-18
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does everything I need This thing goes through,up,and over anything. What a arm pulling upgrade !!
Date published: 2020-08-17
Rated 4 out of 5 by from My new Pro RMK 800 I love my new sled, it looks awesome and rides/handles great. Only downfall I have with it is, it has an inconsistent hesitation/ bog (noticed it since new and may only happen once per ride) that chips away at my confidence when lining up a steep pull. Tried a few quick remedies, new plugs, different octanes 91 or 94. It will likely be visiting the dealer to have it fixed. I'm hoping it's an easy fix (sensor or something). Besides that I really do like my new sled and I'm excited for the snow to fall again

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Sled I have Ridden The new technology and performance of Polaris never ceases to amaze me. The 850 motor carries you through the trees and powder with plenty of power and quick response to keep you out of trouble and elevates your riding ability to a whole new level, cant say enough good about Polaris snowmobiles!!
Date published: 2020-08-17
Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2019 Patriot Review Strong reliable sled, friends cannot keep up. Only thing missing is a stock turbo
Date published: 2020-08-17
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extremely capable machine This last I upgraded from a 2016 axys, which I was impressed with. I then stepped into the 850 platform with no hiccups. This sled is truly a well polished machine
Date published: 2020-08-17
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice sled. Can’t wait to see where Polaris goes from here. I love this sled and its capabilities.
Date published: 2020-08-17
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great sled Very capable sled, loves to be in the trees, light and snappy!
Date published: 2020-08-17
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the 850 Ran like a top every time never let me down best sled I’ve ever owned
Date published: 2020-08-16
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Worst track since the attack20. strong motor Great motor, but doesn't feel stronger than the cat 800 in the actual deep snow. The track is super slippery. Downhill in trees or a chute where you cant get it on it's side, you have to wait a while before following a cat. my friends were stopped on a crusted powdery downhill and I went by them at about 15 mph with no way to stop, out in Sonora Pass. I may swap to another track if I can figure it out. Beautiful sled though, with perfect colors. My red side cover blew off while on my sled deck right after leaving the dealer. ruined on freeway, and amazingly expensive to replace with stickers and heat stuff. Every rider bent an A-Arm over 6 days of riding. Not one Cat needed any A Arms. Too weak or too much of a sacrifice part for the front of the chassis.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best sled I’ve ever ridden Totally incredible where this sled will go. Soooooo much traction! Just have to think about putting it on edge to side hill and it’s there. It did take a little bit to get use to compared to the older sled.
Date published: 2020-08-16
Rated 3 out of 5 by from It’s a nice machine It’s a nice handling machine but there is somethings that need improvements. Like the rear axle wheels, track lugs, buttons for hand warmers, tunnel I super weak. But it is a fun nimble sled in the trees. I tore track lugs in the first 100 miles.
Date published: 2020-08-15
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Overrated Ski rubbers failed every ride causing the ski do dive throwing me off for no reason if I was rich I would’ve lit this thing on fire. Have owned ski do, arctic cat and Yamaha. All better than this sled
Date published: 2020-08-15
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sled I actually bought 2 of these sleds both exactly the same for my kids to ride. I was a christmas gift, they love the sport and can’t wait for winter to get here. Also bought a 2020 kahos as well.
Date published: 2020-08-15
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Been in the shop more than in my garage Blew the Center crankshaft bearing at 1200km and then had the wrong parts shipped to dealer so missed out on spring riding. Sled has been in the shop for 6 months and hoping it’s all waxed up when they call me to pick up this fall. I’ll be choked if it’s anything less. Love the sled but not very impressed with the reliability thus far!
Date published: 2020-08-15
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great way to get back in Bought this machine to have something to keep up to my boyfriend. I can now outperform him in the powder. I might have convinced him to upgrade. Had a great first season, loving how it handles in the powder. Awesome light machine for super fun ride.
Date published: 2020-08-15
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Can’t ride it in the spring. 2019 RMK PRO, 800, Overheats during spring conditions. Really disappointed I can’t ride it without overhearing.
Date published: 2020-08-15
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits like a glove! Light and agile, very responsive. The engine pulls hard and the clutching is spot on. Can put 850's to shame in the right hands. The 2.75 x 154 track is perfect for mountain boondocking in the East. I'm stoked after 1000 miles!
Date published: 2020-08-15
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing sled That extra power with the 850 took me everywhere I needed to be

Date published: 2020-08-14
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best sled that I have ever owned I love this sled, have not ridden as much as would like too, but have moved to Idaho to ride the great powder that I have heard so much about. This sled has not disappointed since I bought it.
Date published: 2020-08-14
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Upgrade! Bought this sled at the end of the season, but did get one ride in before I had to put it away for the summer. Couldn’t really get to aggressive because of the break in period, but I put about 35 miles on the sled. I can’t believe the power and how smooth the suspension is. I haven’t purchased a new sled for over 30 years because of back issues. But this sled takes the bumps like they’re not even there. Very impressed after one ride. Can’t wait for summer to get over and the snow to start flying again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another great Polaris snowmobile. I started riding in 1967 and have owned 45 snowmobiles in my life. The power delivery, reliability, handling on the trail and flick-ablity in the deep snow make this the best snowmobile I have ever owned.
Date published: 2020-08-14

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy Customer I bought from Oquoussoc Marine in Maine and I'm very happy I did. Their service is unmatched anywhere else. I was very happy with my buying experience and how I am taken care of after the fact.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Strong motor but poor gas management Nice look, nice handling but poor gas management... In 2020, I can't understand that I need to change spark plug because they are flooded... Again this past week-end, I was just trying to move back slowly from a tricky position and I have fooded a spark plug (clutch side). I'm riding snowmobile since 35 years on all 4 brands, I have never changed a spark plug for theses reasons. Also, I have faced ''detonation problems'' and the only way to avoid it is to ride on ethanol setting with Premium gas. I Like Polaris products but with theses problems, Polaris push snowmobile owners to look others brands.
Date published: 2020-02-24
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good machine but... After 6 fouled plugs 1 temps sensor harnest issue and a side panel crack due to à fouled plugs change in the midle of the trail. I still dont know if they will guaranty my side panel. I dont know what to think the sled only have 700km what apen next? Why put chinesse part on a sled? The only thing I'm happy with is my dealers services
Date published: 2020-02-24
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! Works better than advertised, and the dealer is awesome.
Date published: 2020-02-24
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for me! I bought this sled new in 2019 and have ridden it for the better part of 2 seasons. I am nearly 100% satisfied. I ride the back country of Ontario, Canada and Michigan's UP and my SKS has allowed me to explore places I've only dreamed of going to in the past. I have only 2 complaints. 1.) I had to have a software update due to bogging issues. Problem easily solved though. 2.) The extra cooling isn't effective. Simple solution was ice scratchers though.
Date published: 2020-02-24
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love the pidd system! Amazing sled I received my sled December! Thought my first service was included in price! Apparently not!! And the sled had to be put on computer for a exhaust valve issue! Also charged for diagnostic! 500m service!

Date published: 2020-01-18
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the handling Love the engineering of this chassis and the power it has. The one and only downfall is how weak the a-arms and spindles are for the price. Polaris would be smart to make it stock with trenchers or something similar, only for the sks and rmk chassis 155” and up.
Date published: 2020-01-18
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great handling bought more than one polaris sks cé my second and it is this type of snowmobile that is designed for me I love the sks

RMK Assault 155
Starting at $13,499 US MSRP

The tough-as-nails backcountry original for extreme conditions.

2019 800 RMK® Assault® 155 is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 29.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Machine! This is the first new sled that I have owned so it took some getting used to for sure. I have over a thousand miles on the sled now and after playing around with the suspension adjustments a little bit here and there it is amazing how smooth and comfortable this machine is. The RMK Assault 155 is so much fun off the trail and on the trail, this machine has gone everywhere that I have wanted it to and done it with ease. Even when I was trying to get it stuck the 800 RMK Assault 155 just pulls it self out in whatever direction you point it in.
Date published: 2018-02-21
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for my riding style! I really like this powder version of the Assault. I’ve had no problems getting around in chest deep powder in the northern Montana Rockies. I’m all about big jumps and big drops and this sled does it all “ like a Boss”. I’ve owned previous generation Assaults and this one is the best for me so far.
Date published: 2018-02-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Its fun to ride again Still learning to ride the new geometry but once I figured out the suspension I love my sled.
Date published: 2018-02-13
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent handling sled with great power and style I am very happy with the axys chassis! Throttle response is incredible!
Date published: 2018-02-13
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome sled! Always have loved Polaris, don't like the color but it doesn't affect the ride.
Date published: 2018-02-13
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great sled I like this sled it’s comfortable to ride easy to maneuver and very responsive. The only thing I am disappointed with is the price of your hoods and panels
Date published: 2018-02-12
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nimble and respondsive Got a snow check Assault in late Nov. and have been loving it . It truly goes anywhere I want to go . Defiantly a great sled . The best I have ever road .
Date published: 2017-03-27
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my assault axys 155 Snow checked all blacked out 155 with 3" track was unreal out in revy this year. Took some getting used to but so flickable and comfortable platform. Only con is I'm at 2 upper A arms and 3 lower so far this season
Date published: 2017-02-25
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great handling , Motor is clean and smooth Just wish we can order color scheme we want at snow check time , Also no benefit or cost savings when I snow check , Not fair when anyone can walk into a dealer in January and by a sled for less then a snowcheck customer
Date published: 2017-02-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the axys platform I previously owned a Polaris snowmobile in the pro ride chassis. After getting on the axys it was like nothing I have riden before. The throttled seemed more responsive and the maneuverability was above and beyond any expectations.
Date published: 2017-02-16
Rated 4 out of 5 by from It bogs here and there usually on groomed trail Sometimes it bogs quite frequently on groomed trail, it will be almost 8000rpm's then bogs out to 6200 jolting you. Also I've noticed all the bushings on a-arms are not up to par allowing play in all of the a-arms. And the ski rubbers DO NOT last at all , im already on my 5th one, this is my 5th Assault. Other than that I love it, the 3" paddles fn rip. I ride 2-3,000 miles a season .
Date published: 2017-02-15
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Losing to skidoo on hill Getting butt kicked by skidoo. Getting passed on hill by skidoo. Need way more piwer
Date published: 2017-02-15
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Literally the king of the mountain! I love this sled it runs amazing with the 3" track it hooks up great and the motor is strong!
Date published: 2017-02-15
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Sled Made I have been riding an RMK for years and at the dealers suggestion i snow checked a new assault last year. It was great advice the sled is amazing and I could not be more excited and happy with the machine. The new chassis is not an extreme change but just a little better in every way and for me that's perfect. I love that Polaris made some needed upgrades without recreating the wheel.
Date published: 2017-02-15
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good flight pattern Doesn't boondock (pullover) as well and I'd want (as well as a Pro in other words) but as my brother said "that sled was meant for you".
Date published: 2017-02-15
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light weight ,lots of power and easy to handle Snow checked it last spring and have been very impressed with it
Date published: 2016-09-19
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The right machine Polaris sleds are fun and make learning to shred easy!
Date published: 2016-09-19
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light, rolls over effortlessly Best fit a finish ever, about time! Engine technology is the only issue this sled has. Platform is excellent, don't mess with it. Engine needs attention every two years. Focus on technology in the engine. It may not be an issue on trail sleds, however on these sleds that are pushed harder and turning more track, it is an issue. I had a 2009, 2010, 2011,2013, and now 2016, the only one with no engine issues was the 2011, not a great percentage!!
Date published: 2016-09-18
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bueatiful sled Fun to ride great in the deep snow very flikible and light
Date published: 2016-09-17
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes a rider better I've ridden backcountry for 3 decades and owned 9 different sleds. I loved my first RMK assault, went places and did things I just couldn't do before. My new AXYS RMK Assault is a whole other level again. Holds a side hill line effortlessly, changes lines with ease. It just plain floats on top of the snow, goes where you want, turns when you want, holds the line you want. It makes me a better rider with less effort.
Date published: 2016-09-17
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looking for more 2016 Assault 800 155. One season old has 1500 miles on. Has been a worthy machine. Possibly the best machine I have ever owned. However there are a few things that I felt could have improved. Such as the the weak rear bumper that brakes because you drag you flap. The giant oaf skis it comes with, I rock the ones off an 06 best ski ever. The spindles are weak and break at the weak point every time. I also feel that the clutching or perhaps the gearing in the machine could be better than it is. I could go on and on about my sled that's it for now. I will say it's a great machine and still can be improved.

2020 600 RMK® 144 is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Sled I have a number of sleds including a 2015 800 SBA and this sled is just as much fun even though its only a 600. The Axys chassis makes it feel really light and the engine puts out plenty of power. Very happy with the purchase
Date published: 2020-01-15
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Performed as it should in deep snow Performed very well in the extremely deep snow that we got this year
Date published: 2019-04-18
Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far better than expected.......... I purchased this new sled for my wife and she likes it. It is a whole new type of riding and once you get use to it you have much better balance and control. I like to steal it when shes not riding it.
Date published: 2018-02-13
Rated 5 out of 5 by from RMK in the oilfield After a pretty good winter last year I snow checked this sled, and thank God. This sled has been flawless, and starts 2nd pull every time, even in 30 below weather.
Date published: 2018-02-13
Rated 5 out of 5 by from it is exactly what i wanted. I ordered this RMK 600 in May 2017, Snow Check, I have over 30 years experience riding sleds of all sorts. This RMK 600 is Exactly what I wanted, this season I have been able to put almost 800 miles on it, and I smile every time, Then I hit the throttle and hold on. I ride the Vast trails and I love hitting the Powder , this Machine does it all. I just wish it came with the walker evens front shocks ,I do not like the stock shocks on the front. the rear is perfect.
Date published: 2018-02-13
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Has everything needed for deep snow and go fast Owned a 2012 rmk 800,the 2018 rmk 600 handles 100% better with no lack of power great versatility in deep powder
Date published: 2018-02-12
Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent This is my 3rd version of the 600 RMK. The noticeable difference is the IGX rear suspension which is leaps and bounds better than the Pro Ride's rear suspension. The front suspension is also an upgrade over the Pro Ride. The lighter weight is also a plus. The ergonomics are a huge improvement The only complaint is the hand warmers are not very warm.
Date published: 2017-02-17
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Love my sled! Love the way it drives, controls and speed! Hand warmers are awesome! And the storage under the seat is a bonus!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great all around sled I really enjoy the all around versatility of the sks. I does great in the ditches, on the trail and in the back country. Polaris has hit a home run with the sks 146!

Date published: 2020-08-14
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best All-Around Sled Ever I previously came from a 2018 Polaris Switchback Assault. I went with the SKS for more powder slaying ability. While off-trail, this sled certainly shines, but I was amazed at how well it performed on-trail. It’s by no means a corner slayer, but this sled will do anything you ask of it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome sled. I sold my '16 Pro RMK to get a '20 SKS. I went from a 155 track to a 146 and I dont notice a difference. The SKS may be a little heavier but not really noticable. I like the thumb warmer controls and etc on the handlebars and the under seat storage. It runs on the trails pretty nice for a mountain sled. No over heating issues on the trails. My Pro RMK struggled with trail or hard pack snow conditions. It would run very hot even with ice scratchers. Also my SKS has prewired connections for USB and windshield heater. Its a fun ride and I'm glad I switched to a SKS for the deep midwest snow of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Learning Sled for New Riders Amazing sled. Great in the powder. Comfortable on the trails. Confidence when riding this sled. Very responsive engine. Fuel consumption is good, but wow does it like to drink when the power valves open. But, smiles with every litre consumed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best flatland boondocker on the market This sled continues to impress every time I ride it. It is undeniably an excellent off-trail flat land sled, but is also still surprisingly good on-trail when set to the widest ski stance. My pure trail friends are surprised with how good its on-trail manners are and the low gearing makes for excellent corner-to-corner quickness. Off-trail, it gets on edge easy and the 2.25" track is great for getting on top of the snow.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from was all great tell the motor blew apart I just purchased four 2020 850's. Now that one motor blew up into pieces, I have to ride the rest of the winter with a feeling that the rest will blow up also. NOT GOOD,NOT HAPPY

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this sled I only have three small complaints, the pidd should alow you to Mark a location and then name it on the spot. The pidd USB port cover fell of and is lost. When I first got it it was a botch to start at times. But since this last update it’s much better.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love the sled great power Order the sled in March picked it up mid November put on 2000kms to now awesome sled, but having a few issues with the sled for sure and have been trying to reach out to Patterson’s where I bought my sled about my problems such as side panel clips not locking in, oil cap has been leaking even when I put 3/4 full and my track has been losing a lot of lugs I’ve always took cation when I went out and checked my track before and after every ride ever sense I’ve notice the track I’ve been trying to contact my dealer to figure things out as winter will be done by next week. Thank you

Switchback Assault 144
Starting at $12,299 US MSRP

Off-trail agility and on-trail confidence for aggressive backcountry riding.

2020 600 Switchback® Assault® 144 is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 638.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Extremely fun, Extremely disappointing Motor is the problem with this sled. It was a rocket from the start, but was using way to much oil and fuel compared to other guys. The top half blew at around 500 miles, and when I got it back it feels very doggy now. Still uses way to much oil and fuel for example I burned a gallon of oil on one take of fuel and I only got 93 miles out of the tank of fuel just basic trail riding. Besides that love the sled to death. When it was running good I could do anything with it. No one would outrun me on the trails and I could keep up to 155s backcountry in the U.P. Its a easy machine to swap tracks on or just work on. Wish it came with built in tunnel protectors otherwise no complaints.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Couldn't be happier I've been on the wall about purchasing a sled for a couple years and couldn't be happier on finally pulling the trigger on my SBA! The past couple years I was borrowing my father's Pro-S which is a nice sled but lacked the ability for off trail fun. I was thoroughly impressed with the on trail handling once I got the sled set up to my liking, it stopped pushing and rails almost flat in the tight twisies . I was even more surprised with how the handleling of trail in the deep stuff even though mine just has the 1.325" track on it. It still pops up on top with minimal trenching, is easy to get on edge and carve with (unlike the 15 Pro-S). I've never been more excited for the snow to come back so I can really push it and learn it's limits this year!

Just fell in love with the graphics red and black being my favourite colours and the great reviews and feedbacks. From trail to back country I’ve never left behind and she never seems to disappointment. convince other friends to go Polaris. And we’re happy that they did We seen more things we’ve never seen before we’ve gone places we would never go before. When you’ve got a great machine it makes the Ride fun and so much better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Assault is my Best all around sled I absolutely love my new sled it truly goes everywhere I want to ride. Depending who I ride with we will not fails or go off trail and this sled does it all. We will also sometimes ride all day and night and I've never had a sled that is so comfortable and great visibility at night. I but a riser on it for my bars and its great I'm 6'3" and around 250 and I'm really comfortable on this sled. I doesn't do the nav system but I'm going to see if I can upgrade my assault with it this season then my sled will be perfect. Can't wait for snow

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My first brand new sled It's a wonderful sled, great handling, power. Althought I was disappointed about the visa gift card, I was told if I snowchecked a new sled, I would recive a Visa gift card, but was later informed this was not true at all. So I may re-think a new purchase in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very enjoyable to ride This is my third Polaris snowmobile. It looks great with the custom colours. It handles great and provides a smooth enjoyable ride. Sadly the brake lock is almost impossible to use. My dealership mechanic tried 6 times before he was able to put it on. He wrote a note to Polaris. Polaris will not deal with this problem. I carry a clamp to hold the brake on when required.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not The Right Machine For Us, Quality Though the quality of the machine is not the issue. We bought this machine for my wife. We got a 800 switchback adventure for myself and we like the 800, but the 600 is the issue here. The 600 pro S feels like a car running in second gear ready for shift all the time. The motor is just working all the time, too hard in my opinion. When we go to the pump the pro s takes more fuel than the 800 adventure. We are trading it in for a 800 xcr. My wife is going into the 800 adventure switchback. The sled never broke down it has done its job. I will only reccomend a 800 or bigger, never a 600 again. See you all around UP!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best sled on snow!! There’s a reason why I am a Polaris Ambassador...I’d never back a product without truly testing its limits and seeing exactly what it excels in. This does it all for a trail sled! The Switchback Pro-S is so easy to adjust to your preference and is 100% the best handling sled out there. Cornering at speeds is a breeze, moguls are no match for the ProXC rear suspension, and pair all that with the smooth and responsive 850 Patriot and you have the most ultimate trail sled out there today. The Axys chassis is famous for its reliable handling, and no other brand comes close to the agility of the Switchback line-up. This is my third Pro-S and as long as they make them, I’m going to buy them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My first brand new sled in 6 years! Headlight goes out constantly, no back lighting to switches anymore. Power train needs some fine tuning, went into DET many times. The 850 blows out the ice attack with its power. Otherwise a great riding sled. Powerful and fun!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Sled Love the Pro S Axys chassis way better then my Assault didn't get too put alot of miles on the sled this pass winter was ok and my truck became unreliable so only got 850 miles
Date published: 2020-08-14
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Reliable yet Reluctant to ride I am overall happy with this sled. Having been used to the much lower position of the 1990's and earlier sleds I find the high position very unnerving and have almost not made many corners so far. The sled is reliable, quick and nimble, but the higher center of gravity reduces the safety and fun factor. Adjustable shocks help with this but like any sled this high, I am less than fully comfortable riding it. This is solely my 56 year old preference, as my kids absolutely love it. I wish manufacturers would make the old configuration again. :(

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An Excellent Ride My wife and I had a fun winter riding. The only problem was she always wanted to ride the switchback.
Date published: 2020-08-14
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast n nimble This is my second switchback 137 track. My previous lead was a 600. This new sled is an 800 and has way more power. Fast on the straightaways fast through the turns doesn’t get any better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great looking sled with great features I Have only rode about 900 miles so far and love it! But it keeps throwing a shut down code when I put it on the 91 fuel mode!!!
Date published: 2020-03-04
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Sled Bought the Sled 3 months ago. I like the looks and styling of the sled. Smooth ride. Reliability is a concern. Check oil indicator light on dash flashes even though oil reservoir is full. I don't care for the sound the starter makes when starting the engine.
Date published: 2020-03-03
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy it all over again! Love love love the looks, handling, performance. What a great machine! On the downside, the dashboard/display is a little difficult to use, I can only get it to switch to two different display modes while I am in motion on the trail. And quite shockingly, the digital fuel level gauge cannot be checked without starting up the snowmobile; I absolutely hate cold starting it to read the gauge only to find out that I am out of gas, then shutting it off to gas it up, and then re-starting it again. This was an unfortunate oversight that hopefully will get corrected on future versions of the display unit.

TITAN SP 155
Starting at $13,399 US MSRP

The most agile and adaptable extreme crossover.

2020 800 TITAN® SP 155 is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 26.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for hauling my dogs! I only have 300 miles on it and did a field test in deeper snow and was pleased that it handled it well. I had previously only been riding on trails.
Date published: 2020-02-25
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Review of my 2018 Polaris Titan SP The floater skis make this sled ideal for out in deep snow not a trail, however with enough tweaking the floater skis can be a trail sled. I do believe this sled has a larger fuel tank which is nice. Towing with this sled is amazing, my friend’s 2010 Arctic 1100 Turbo needed a tow (battery died) the Titan couldn’t even feel the sled behind it and it did not struggle at all to pull a sled. The only issue I’ve come across with this sled is it eats oil, I believe this is because it’s a utility sled and I have been riding it more like a trail sled (150-250 miles a trip).
Date published: 2020-02-24
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everything as advertised This sled is everything the critics said it was Good and the not so good . I purchased my Titan then added the front bumper winch adapter, rear cargo boxes and fuel can bracket. On the first trip I used the winch to get a sled out of a 5 foot deep trench, so glad I had it. It handles well in turns, flies across frozen lakes and pulls like an ox. Now the things that could be improved. The track noise will be something I have to get used to. I also feel it should have been equipped with the 1.6 track not the1.35. All things considered its everything I was looking for in a single package. Props to the Polaris engineers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Titan SP used for grooming Central Oregon Trail Alliance now has 2 2018 Titan SPs. We use them for grooming 15 miles of Fat BIke trails near Bend Oregon. They are fantastic work horses! The only down side is the Power Boosting Regulator (PBR) location does not get enough air flow at grooming speeds which causes the it to overheat when temp is 30° F and above. We have added a bilge fan under the front cowling to help bring in more cool air as grooming speeds are slow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Titan is a BEAST!!!! This sled is a true do it all sled, and thats what I wanted. I can ride trails with my ski up the Polaris rush's track and keep right with them. I hauled 35' telephone poles into a cabin to use for dock stringers, Then turned around kicked it into high gear and carved down logging roads with 3' plus, untouched powder on them. I tried to get this thing stuck all day and just couldn't do it. This thing pulls my otter fish tub so effortlessly. Added scratchers and with the radiator up front never have to worry about over heating. Just love this thing, and with us having snow from Sep-May, it was a very practical purchase for me. Ps Polaris should sponser me for using this sled the way I do!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from deep snow monster after buying land and a cabin north of two harbors minn, I needed a sled to use in the heavy lake effect snow belt we have, the titan was exactly what I was looking for, at 700 plus lbs it floats over the most extreme snow conditions iv'e witnessed in the 3 years I have owned the land

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great all around sled. I was looking for a sled I could use for work, fishing and riding. this was the right choice. We had 4+ feet of snow this year and when I got this sled home I went on private trails that had not been ridden on all year with no issues. Pulled ice shack on and off the pond through deep snow without a problem. On top of this I can ride the trails and keep up with the guys when crossing the lakes. Great all around sled.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun workhorse Powerful , agile , all day comfortable . Stayed surprisingly cool across miles of frozen hard packed tundra . I'm not an expert rider but this machine helps me look like one. Even in the deep stuff. Polaris nailed it again. needs a handle so rear end can be picked up.

TITAN XC
Starting at $14,699 US MSRP

The ultimate high-performance crossover.

2020 800 TITAN® XC 155 is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 92.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Advertised as a do all, but really a do some. Good but not great. Track is too loud at speed. Tiring howling noise all day long. Pretty fast but very heavy.
Date published: 2020-08-14
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great crossover but thirsty Sled can be used for anything from ice fishing to aggressive trail riding.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Versatile! After buying a remote cabin I needed something to haul and groom with but I wasn't ready to give up recreational riding in all of the great areas surrounding our property. The Titan has proven it can do all of those things very well. It amazes me that in one day I can haul in a weekend's worth of gear and food, hook up to the groomer and drag trails for the residents on the lake and then take my wife out and carve the deep stuff with her and her Assault.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Back on Polaris I've been on a Skidoo TUV 600 sdi for that past 7 years until in rode my buddy's Titan XC, i really was glad to see Polaris launch this ride. It rides great, breaks trail in fresh deep snow very well, takes the bumps well and the range is great. I tow freight into my cabin and love this Titan. I do wish there was a smaller, quick access storage for rope, saw, a few tools. Other than that, once you get through the fuel and oil break in period, i'm pleased with my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2020 titian I snow checked this sled. It’s has been awsome. There has been some problems with computer. The suspension is smith down the trail. Wish it still had push button reverse.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the Ride Need more seat time but what time I have spent on this thing has been awesome. Love the handling both on and off trail. I feel the weight (Had a RMK previously) but not as much as I had thought...the ride make it all worth it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great sled but track very noisy. Overall great ride, handling, deep snow capability and functionality. I gave it a 3 because the very annoying track vibration and noise diminishes the experience to the point that I regret buying it over the Expedition. Very disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Full Figured Head Turner ! This sled has so much to offer. I have rode hard solo and two up. This machine does it all. I love the traction of the 20" wide x 155 track = hook up and acceleration + stopping as well. I can carry so much gear in the back. It's wonderful.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but not great. 3rd season on the titan now , I do love the machine but there is some flaws . Example , broke 2 rear springs now (warrantied) in the back woods and I wasn’t even close to the capacity of the machine. Can’t get HD springs for the titan apparently . Fuel Mileage is 8-9mpg average (working ,riding ) with the exception of one 11 mpg trip ( riding on a perfect trail at 25 below ). Machine Start up idles are 1800-1950 cold , then slowly dies down to 1400 rpm and quite . Dealer can’t find out why . Starting to think it’s just a Polaris thing? Again , I do like the sled just they can do some improvements to it , mostly in beefing up the suspension. I don’t abuse it , it just gets used as advertised . Hauling firewood , ice fishing and occasional trail ride .

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Excessive vibration and track howl Purchased 6 weeks ago and track howl is annoying but I accept it because of the 1.8 lug 24" track. with that being said I'm disappointed in the excessive vibration in my feet. Otherwise this is a wonderful machine that will go anywhere and will back up in very deep snow conditions. I don't know how you could get this thing stuck!

TITAN Adventure
Starting at $15,299 US MSRP

The full-featured, do-everything crossover for maximum versatility.

2020 800 TITAN® Adventure 155 is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 100.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great look! BUT! I bought this just about a year ago, I've been changing the spark plugs almost 1 pack per week! That's 4 spark plugs, yes I drive it long distances to not let the spark plugs burnout then about two to three months later the pistons went kaput! Cylinders were burnt out.. thankfully my warranty covered it all when I sent it down to my dealer in Val-D'Or but now this year, 2020 of February it's overheating constantly, coolant is filled to recommendations, spark plugs are okay but easily burn out in extreme cold weather conditions (BPR9ES) VES oil is always filled just right, I run it gently because of the new pistons no matter the snow conditions either on huge airpacket snow and on ice trails along the coast of Hudson Bay Nunavik this machine overall has beautiful looks I love it! but it has too many mechanical problems for the North. Battery even died on itself can't charge it without the proper Polaris charger, I can't afford to keep sending it from Nunavik down to my dealer in Val-D'Or it's too expensive for a part time worker.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The Titan has impressed I bought the Titan Dec.23 2019. It was a snow check sled for me. I have mamaged to put almosy 1400kms on it and it has impressed me. Only issue i have had is a exhaust spring broke which i believe caused the belt to blow. I was carving powder and i think the side to side motion caused the spring to pop up in rhe clutches and poof goes the belt. Sucks having to fork out that kinda money for a new belt but time will tell if the spring was the cause.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great ride and features I bought the sled a few months ago and used it only 2 times on trails and once in field. The weather and my schedule have not been cooperating. Very pleased with ride and performance. My wife loves the seat and hand warmers in the back as well! I am a new rider but it more than enough power for me and a great ride so we hope to have many more years of use with the sled. Only negative I can say thus far is one of the mirrors cracked for no reason but the dealer said when I bring it in for service he will replace that.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great sled I was impressed with the feedback on the Titan from Quebec friends as well as 2 magazine write ups. I wanted something to poke around off trail that wasn't a pure mountain sled. I now have 1500 miles on it. Impressive trail riding chops. A real sleeper when riding with pure trail buds. Biggest gripe is the track howl.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beast I was out ice fishing last winter and we hit some slush. It was the worst I have ever seen. Over a foot deep and I was doubling hauling a very big sleigh. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Machine I live in rural Alaska and purchased a 2019 Polaris titan adventure last winter new. I was really amazed on how well it handled on and off trail. It does not fill like a wide track when riding on the trail at speeds of 60 65 mph. It is also clutched very nice for riding around in the woods slowly. I like how you need no tools to take the cowling apart and changing the belt is simple. It is also easy to change tranny oil. I like the led lights and pidd system I use the gps all the time. It does use a bit more fuel than I’m used to especially when breaking trail. But I was spoiled with a 900 ace previously. I wish there was under seat storage or a rack that could take the place of two up seat. The only storage is in the big box but it is nice to have that space open for chainsaw traps or gas. I have 2500 miles on it fouled a couple plugs blew a belt but besides that runs great. Time will tell how long the motor will hold together. So far so good

Switchback SP
Starting at $11,299 US MSRP

Versatile crossover.

2019 600 Switchback® SP is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 21.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from After 350 miles, I love it With a dry weight of 454lb and about 125hp, the power to weight ratio is amazing. It still amazes me when I think that I am riding a 600. As with any cross-over, it does well with either trail riding or hitting fresh powder. Id say the capabilities of the sled lean a little more toward powder than trail riding. But it is a blast to ride in either case. I had it out after a large blizzard and had no trouble climbing hills and carving up the pole lines. I get a little inside ski lift on corners on the groomed trail, but its a 144, so I don't expect it to handle corners like my SRX does. Corner to corner throttle response is very good, it always feels very crisp and snappy. Older 600s I've driven, the acceleration planes out around 60MPH but this switchback has pretty strong pull to about 80. The ride over the bumps seemed to be less impressive than I expected. Given that I've been riding a 2001 SRX, I kind of expected a little more ride comfort when the trails get beat up. Especially given the 17 years of innovation in the suspension system, and the added length of the sled over my old 121. Summed up, I am very happy with my purchase. Its light weight, handles good, breaks trail good, and has a potent little power plant under the hood.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great ride I’ve put 400 miles on my new sled in three weeks. Don’t everything I want it to do. Haven’t had wide open yet but pulls great in the mid range

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rides great I bought this awesome machine about a week and ago and rode it a total of 150 miles this past weekend and it did great. There was 10 inches of fresh snow and it handled it like a champ, and it rode as good as my friends Indy on the groomed trails.
Date published: 2018-02-14
Rated 4 out of 5 by from well balanced chassis on the trails I bought this machine with the snow check program. I updated from a 2014 600 Indy. I like the front of the machine and balance in the corners while on the trail but wish it had more adjustabilty with the rear suspension to get a softer ride on rough trails. I am a 200lb rider and I have it set up as soft as possible. I liked the seat on my 2014 better due to it being not as firm and holding snow on the top. The seat is really hard, especially in cold weather. The rear shock may need to be valved softer due to it never bottoming out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent All Around Machine This is the perfect hybrid machine, power is excellent, suspensions excellent, chassis perfect, great work! The main thing I changed was to SLP Powder Pro skis. Will being doing a clutch kit, as secondary helix is a bit bland.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best crossover on the market Bought the machine a month ago and love it, the 600 has lots of power in this light nimble chassis! With the tipped rails it handles great on the trail without overheating and handles close to a mountain sled in the deep powder thanks to the axis chassis. The 87 octane methenol mode is handy for fueling in small towns that don't have premium. Used to ride a 16 renegade 600 with a 137 track and this is a lot more machine for less money.... Highly recommended!

Date published: 2020-02-24
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Questionable Reliability Bought it around 2 years ago. At approx 800kms, there was an oiling issue and it needed a top end rebuild. When picking it up there was a customer with the same repair/similar kms.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Saddle bags, blue tooth, gps I find the seat way to hard! Maybe if I'd be overweight like most of the people it be alright!! I don't like the skis, lots of water stays stuck in them!! I don't like that there are no grease fittings on the suspension!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Luxury Trail & Performance Bought this machine last year for my wife, along with an assault for myself. She is an experienced rider, so the 800cc was not a concern. All I can say is this thing rips! Fox adjustable shocks are a bonus as well. Tall windshield, storage, and accessory outputs are key for her to be enjoy the day. Happy wife = Happy Life

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Wilderness Sled I bought this sled in October and have been riding since. I love the responsiveness, short turning radius, map feature, the color, and storage, just to mention a few. Things to think about when riding down icy roads at high speeds (double carbides and spikes) to enhance stability. Overall, nice machine...even nicer when they manufacture the adventure with a longer track for deep snow in the wilderness.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Long and Short Adventures! I put close to 1200 miles on this sled over the past year. Plenty of power for any situation, and the ride adjustability is a huge asset. No issues, only smiles.
Date published: 2020-01-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love the higher sitting profile I upgraded from a 2005 xc600 to this sled after riding my husband's 2016 Adventure. The first 50 miles were awful! I told my husband that I felt the sled controlled me instead of me controlling the sled. He put dual carbides on my sled and it fixed the problem. I wish Polaris would just put duallys on from the git go. That being said I am very happy with my new ride.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun sled Quick flickable agile sled, I,ve changed from long fast riding days , 200 miles plus, to looking for more tight twisty hilly trails where this sled shines. My 2016 Rush 800 ,I still ride, also great in tight and twisty but not as quick reving to launch over holes and ruts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it!!!! The 2020 600 Rush Pro S is a wonderful sled. I finally got a sled the fits me. The suspension can be set easily to my weight which is very light as I have always had the problem of the suspensions being too hard. The sled is easy to handle and stable and most of all I am confident it is a very reliable sled.

Date published: 2020-03-01
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Equals My Playing Field This machine corners and has the zip I need to keep up with my husband's 800. I haven't been this happy with a sled in years. We were riding every few days and exploring trails we haven't been on in a long time. Fun! Fun! Fun! We rode in slightly below zero weather to 40+ degrees. It was great! Trails were freshly groomed smooth to moguls in the swamps. I could stand up on the sled and get through everything. I'm not a young lady anymore, but I felt 10 years younger on this sled.
Date published: 2020-02-25

Rated 4 out of 5 by from very smooth and responsive I bought my sled a little over a year ago, but unfortunately with unseasonable winters it has barely over 10 miles on it. I'm also concerned about the amount of seizing motors from the 2019 model year...that really worries me when thinking about booking expensive riding trips to trail ride.I've read and follow the manual from cover to cover, like I do to all my polaris machines, hoping for a trouble free season.
Date published: 2020-01-19
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome trail sled The 600 RUSH is a great trail sled. great balance, acceleration and nice ride over not so smooth trails. The dealer (Cozzy's) seemed to have hit the mark concerning suspension set up for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great handling SC sled spring of 2018. Received sled in December of 2018 and put 600 plus miles on it. Sold it in Feb of 2019 to a private party as good used sleds were selling great due to good snow cover in MN. Picked up a profit of $1500 and put it toward a 2020 Cc 850 XCR.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it. I snow checked the sled but wasn’t able to ride in 2019 due to heart surgery. I like the handling and ride. The pidd screen is a bit small but ok. I did have a couple problems with wiring issue but the dealer got that fixed and since then works even better.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice cornering, I bought this and 800 miles in the secondary bearing completely disintegrated. I was without the sled for 3 weekend, luckily I have a great dealer that took great care of me. Then the shocks blew and had no dampening after 1200 miles, then after a rebuild they had the same issues about 3 weeks later. I also lost an boogie wheel during this time.

Loved the sled just the shock package was a little to soft for aggressive riding The XCR package in the AXYS chassis is the funniest sled I’ve ridden! Team it up with the new patriot 850 and it an amazing combination! Best 1500 mile I’ve put on a snowmobile. PS I hope they bring the 121 XCR AXYS BACK!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Super Dissapointed....seized engine Rode my XCR for 500 miles and loved it. Then seized engine had to be towed home.Spent 2 weeks in shop waiting for parts. Got it back and rode 90 miles and died, had to be towed 90 miles back and took to dealer again. CPU faulty had to wait 10 days again. Missed the best part of season. Dealer was great with a loaner sled and trying to get parts but Polaris would not overnight parts to Canada

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this sled Upgraded from a 2011 Rush to the 2018 Switchback. Huge difference right out of the gate. Ride, handling, acceleration, etc. The XCR flies down the trails, and rolls over the moguls. The longer track is also a plus. Keep doing what you're doing, Polaris!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great deal I bought this in October 2019 as a leftover. The performance is great and i got a good deal on it. The dealership was great to work with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great handling and acceleration. The suspension on this is fantastic. Also the acceleration makes it hard to go slow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tough and Dependable! One year ago today this sled helped us win a Guinness World Record! The last 8 hours of our 24 hour record we rode this sled at an average of over 86 mph including pitstops! We were pushing over 96 mph each lap including corners! Over 8,000 rpm consistently! No problems! Have put over 2,000km on sled since trail riding, have not had any issues!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I can ride all day and not feel beat I snow check sled dealer recommended this model thanks i love it
Date published: 2020-02-27
Rated 5 out of 5 by from handling Ive had it about a month, it handles fairly well, it pushes corners a bit, and the ride could be softer. Although, i'm 130lbs so I may turn my springs up a bit to set the sled for my weight. I love the power and response the sled has. I cant wait till I have everything set where I need it to be.
Date published: 2020-02-26
Rated 3 out of 5 by from A little disappointed Last year the sled was awesome! The first trip up this year was very costly and disappointing. We were 150 miles away from our rented cabin when the sled over heated 1 mile south of Copper Harbor MI. I had to be pull into town by an arctic cat. Then I had to pay a stranger to haul me and my sled back to cabin where a sat for two days while my friend sledded. Not fun! After we got home I took sled to dealer and found out the water pump was toast. Sled has 2000 miles on it. Not a great start on the new 850

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SBA 2.0 was a great sled. Power, handling and off This is my umteenth number of Polaris snowmobile and I have to say this is one of the best sleds ever. Relaible, PIDD is amazing and the sled works great here in the UP.
Date published: 2020-02-26
Rated 5 out of 5 by from handling and suspension incredible Sled is unreal riding position is perfect suspension and handling inspire confidence in the bumps and corners flat and ability to hold speed does not feel like a 600 have driven many bigger bore sleds

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost what I expected I snowchecked this sled because after a lifetime on cats I rode my buddy's 2019 XCR 850 Rush and loved it. I do love the sled so dont get me wrong. But there's a few thoughts I have and one complaint. First off I was really upset I couldn't order a XCR 850 RUSH, But thought the switchback would be about the same....it kind of is I guess. Second....I can not understand for the life of me why a premium sled (and let's not kidd ourselves) an XCR 850 is premium!!! Comes with 4" carbide runner's. I can understand the lower end models, but come on...put a set of premium carbides on it. And with all the engineering that goes into these sleds, why dont you shim the skies from the factory? This thing darted so bad when I rode it I thought something was broke! A simple 3/16 shim fixes this problem and everyone knows it, but that being said it didn't help that my toe out was never checked or adjusted from the dealer (I would assume that is part of dealer prep?) But that wasn't done alone with a good number of other things. Speaking of dealer, I have a leaky rear skid shock and need to know how far Polaris would like me to travel to get the situation taken care of? Because the local dealer whom I purchased the sled from sent me a text message saying I should find another dealer to better suit my needs, including parts, service, warranty and recalls. I personally have never been treated so badly by a dealer. And I only got that text from them because when I took the survey shortly after I took delivery of the sled about the dealership, Polaris must have contacted the dealer about the bad review and in turn I got that text. So if I decide to keep the sled and not go to another brand I need to travel quite a way for service. Or buy a cat or ski doo of which I have local dealers close buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from long live the Rush and other Pro Xc skid machines The 20 XCR Switchback is my 3rd 800 with the Pro Xc rear skid. Still have the other two. One being a 17 XCR Rush 121 and The other is a 2012 Rush Pro R. Love the short track lively ride but Polaris apparently doesnt offer that track option any longer. The Switchback 137 is an amazing ride as well though and far more predictable in corners making it more suitable for less experienced riders and more comfortable on long hauls.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super 2 up Only 100 miles on this year, but drives like a Cadillac compared to my 2003 XC500. Love electric start. Reverse is awesome. Fits into the trailer I used for my Ranger. Good for my 50 year old mentality - plenty fast and get-up, but smooth and can get unstuck without breaking my back lifting and pulling.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Peppy and light I bought this for my wife. Handles well. Only problem was clunking in secondary drive on takeoff in forward or reverse, called dealer they accused me of being negligent with machine and only had 300 miles on it, I’m 66 years old not a teenager, but as usual its hard to find a dealer with any honesty, this is my last powersports machine, dealers are awful in my experience and i assume Polaris supports them for being that way. Other than that experience its a nice machine, like i said dealerships treat customers like garbage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from lots of power for me first ever snowmobile bought this in January and go riding every weekend so far until the snow melts
Date published: 2017-02-16
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice sled for the money I really like the sled but i was supprised to find a sticker on the sled that says that the machine was designed for 1 person only, when it is advertised as a 2 person sled. The suspension is really inadequate for 2 people. I am confused why polaris would promote this sled as a 2 up when really it is not. I had a problem with brake fluid leaking from the cap where you fill the brake fluid. I took the cap off and found there was a kink in the rubber seal where it was put on wrong. With all this said i still really like the machine. I wanted something fan cooled because i live on a lake and use it on the ice sometimes when there is not much snow. One other thing. The dealer told me that rear hand warmers were not available for this sled. I had a hard time with believing that so i searched the internet and found some. Not sure why a dealer would not know this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from snow float! I was the first to snowcheck this puppy in Sudbury ON, Canada in 2014. I did a cold start at -42C last season at my camp in Westree ON, with no issues. It paddles through slush with ease and it floats better than anything I’ve ever seen on snow. You have more than enough power to ride deep and have fun. The traction, the weight, the ergonomics and the reliability of this machine are nothing but awesome. This is the Swiss Army knife of sleds. If you ice fish, winter hunt or trap, this is hands down the sled for you. I’m in my 30’s, a father of two and my family and I love our Indy Adventure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the starter! After 25 years of not being able to pull the cord to start the sled. I finally have an electric start and it is awesome. This sled rides nice and steady on the groomed trails. I am a woman in my late sixties and it is the perfect sled for me.

Date published: 2019-04-17
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for what I needed I am back to snow machines in my 30s and wanted something smaller that I could handle with on and off trail capabilities and this machine was a perfect fit. The sizing of the 550 meant I could maneuver it without fatigue that I have felt on other machines. I wanted something simple and basic to maintain. The 144” track is perfect for off trail when needed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Could be better- I bought my 2nd Polaris snowmobile in 8 winters. The Indy 600 I’m not a fan of the hood configuration 3 parts and small screws holding the sides on with difficult plastic slides to match up to. Antifreeze fill requires a long necked nozzle funnel and is placed awkwardly .. the windshield is so small why bother ..
Date published: 2020-02-29
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic reliable sled. I bought this sled a year and a half ago replacing my 1996 Indy 500. Wow rock solid I average 250 Km days on the weekends through out the season. This machine is always ready. two weekends ago I took it on a 430 Km loop, 8 hours non stop only shut down for gas all types of trails straight flat, very rough and twisty forest this machine never faltered. I've decided to trade up to a switchback pro S 600 but am very sad to see the Indy go.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Could of been happier Comes with too small of windshield , no protection for hands , fairing design is poor knees get cold even with good bibs , performance is very good for a 600 , had to switch standard carbides for 4 in duals handles much better, track is not studded..could stand more suspension bottoms out too much , all ready adjusted to max.
Date published: 2020-02-24
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice size I like the shorter track, the sled is quick and easy to handle. Very basic model but it covers all important bases for handling and comfort.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great performance AND value! I purchased this sled for my son to ride. Overall we are completely impressed with both the performance and the value that the sled brings. The only negatives were the track being too low of a profile (which we have already changed out) and the suspension springs being a little on the soft side. Otherwise we would’ve given it 5 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great ride that exceeds expectations After years of riding higher powered liquid cools sleds, I was reluctant to switch to a fan cooled. But, where I ride the snow is not always loose and overheating is a concern. This sled rides great and actually is much more speedy and fun than I anticipated.

Date published: 2020-02-24
Rated 3 out of 5 by from backfires, not smooth, reverse finicky I am not sure how these engines are supposed to run, but below 5000 rpm it constantly Below 5000 rpm, the engine constantly sounds like it is "engine braking when going down a hill", constantly popping and firing. This is tolerable around 3500rpm, and is really annoying around 4500rpm. It also backfires from time to time on startup, and idling rpm drops quite often drops below the point where the reverse gear can be activated. Apart from that, it works fine, but I would have preferred a smoother running engine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bang for your buck! So I bought this in January and live in northern Maine. It is a great overall seld I did upgrade the track to get some traction in powder conditions. So it now has 600 miles and I love it for several different reasons. It's a light sled that you can haul 2 people and its surprisingly has plenty of power for me I cruise about 55 mph. I would have love to seen it as a liquid cooled engine as this one is fan but I get it it's a price point sled.
Date published: 2020-02-24
Rated 3 out of 5 by from It’s reliable and performs as expected I’m coming from a four stroke Yamaha so this sled is very basic, loud and smokey. But it starts and runs as it should and had the features I wanted such as 2 up and long track, it’s lighter and more maneuverable. I hope it’s more dependable because that’s all it’s got going for it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than expected!!! Bought this snowmobile to transport myself, family and friends between my mountain cabin and a parking lot area where vehicles are parked during the winter season. It serves that purpose and much more. We are have tons of fun riding on trails, towing sleds and riding it around the neighborhood.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great all around sled this is the third year I have owned this sled. use it for ice fishing, trail riding and cross country riding here in michigans u.p. the long track handles the deep snow.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Back rest needs to be higher Very good sled, but no after market back rests are available for this model or year. About the only thing I can upgrade is the windshield. Passenger hand grips are to close together, and don't go high enough to be comfortable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great on and off the trail!! It is the perfect machine for me as I trail ride and off trail on my property. I use it for making maple syrup and cross country ski trail grooming. Traction is perfect after getting stuck so easy with my old machine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great all around snowmobile I have been riding my Voyageur for a year & have no complaints. I have ridden about 800 miles of trails & about 50-60 miles of deep off trail & both have met or exceeded my expectations. The ride is comfortable enough to put in a 200 mile day on the trails & with the long track the deep off trail has been a blast.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great machine built with a purpose I’ve put over 850kms on already in january without any problems, other than battery is a dud , but dealers making good on that ... Its a great trail sled with capability to play offtrail . The 16” track & wide ski stance keep it moveing in the powder , could use a longer paddle on mine but this years snow is insanely deep ...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Has all the features I need I bought my sled last year. I had 360 miles on it when the engine blew up. Polaris replaced one side of the engine pistons etc. So far this year it's been running good. Makes me a little nervous they didnt replace the whole engine. I will be really bummed if the other side goes.
Date published: 2020-01-16
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not enough snow! I have only had it out around the farm with little snow. Great power and handles beautiful.
Date published: 2020-01-16
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great all around sled Bought a little over a year ago, and I really like almost everything about it. Have had zero problems, the 600 has great power, superior traction in deeper snow compared to my 154” tundra, It’s also very utilitarian with a rear rack and hitch plus has a pull start for a backup.
Date published: 2020-01-16
Rated 4 out of 5 by from light weight and capable this is a sled that has very good off trail ability's . Its light and comfortable for exploring groomed or NOT groomed trails and wood roads , lakes . Fun on the trial but has limited rear suspension ride quality in the bumps .

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good value for price I bought a 550 fan for the family. My children are starting to get their snowmobile licences. The 144" Voyageur with the 550 fan surprised me with the power it has and the excellent flotation off trail.

VOYAGEUR 155
Starting at $8,999 US MSRP

Off-trail riding plus utility.

2020 550 Voyageur® 155 is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 91.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome sled for price point It has great floatation and has always been reliable. 2 primary complaints. The rails need cutouts. Boot holes get packed with snow. I feel the 550 is a little under powered. Overall, great beginner or spouse sled.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Voyageur Goes Everywhere! Covering hundreds of miles of northern Minnesota and Ontario's wilderness was a joy on my Voyageur. Where others struggled with the deep snow, the Voyageur floated its way through. A pleasure to ride, with enough get up and go to keep up on both the flats and the curves to keep the adrenaline flowing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Perfect fishing sled Made it up to camp 3 weekends this winter, very memorable trips, over 4ft of snow, the voyager just floats on top. Lots of ice fishing around home every weekend

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect match Our Scout group purchased two Voyageurs, we needed reliable, simple machines with little maintenance required that anyone from from 11 years old could easily and safely operate. They also needed to be a workhorse for hauling our gear in deep snow. The Voyageurs have been a perfect match for our needs.
Date published: 2020-03-05
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great in deep snow Bought this machine because of the ratings and from talking to other owners . Only have a few hundred kilometres on it this winter . It performs great in 4’ of snow and having the larger skins helps out tremendously ! Added to the skins , you can enjoy the longer track and the bullet proof 550 fan engine. We have been out with the newer skidoo tundra’s , but most felt that the tundra was too tippy compared to the ride and stability of the 155 voyageur. This machine fits my needs for my fishing and exploring on logging roads and lakes.
Date published: 2020-03-03
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great trail machine 2 months and 700kms with no real issues. Could use some better running boards that the snow can fall through and screens to cover the holes in the hood for powder riding.
Date published: 2020-02-27
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sled for the price Bought it just over a month ago, and so far has proven itself to be a worthwhile investment. Excellent in deep snow. Easy to handle. Fun to drive. For a 550 fan, surprisingly peppy. Very happy I made the choice.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 2018 Polaris Voyageur 550 155" I bought this sled brand new and Ive put 2000 kms on it so far, great sled and a good price. In the 155 with the pro float skiis it will take you anywhere you want to go and is a fairly fun sled to play with. Ive had a few issues with it but were small things , snow getting in the hood area from powder splashing in. A vent kits solved my issue there as the throttle cable would freeze as the snow melted when I shut it down. The running boards could use a update. They fill up with snow, Ive solved that issue by installing a insert kit which allowed me to create large slots similar to the RMK's and my snow buildup issue has been solved. The controls could use a update aswell, Polaris has been using the same switched for over 20 years …. Overall a great sled. Hope to get years of enjoyment out of it I do wish that Polaris would offer the 600 in a 155 for the voyageur, as the 550 lacks the grunt the 600 could provide. A Voyageur144 is too short for the things I require to do with my sled, breaking trail, ice fishing etc.
Date published: 2020-02-25
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing flotation !! Bought my new voyageur 13 months ago and love it!! Rides great and floats over the snow. With its wide skies and articulated rear suspension it can reverse in extra deep snow with ease.
Date published: 2020-02-25
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing off trail! Second winter now, the voyageur 155" is a real off trail performer with the 1.6 track and the polaris pro float skis up front. The rear skid of the 155 makes it easy to back up in any snow conditions. Clutches are dialed and wouldn't even benifit from a low range gear. Sled is lacking if your looking to trail ride, it will average 50 to 60 mph depending on weather temperature. All in all, for the price and off trail capabilities its a great buy.
Date published: 2020-02-25
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile I purchased our Voyaguer in December 2019 as a gift to my partner. She absoultly loves this machine! Its fit and finish is top.notch.. apex chassis lighweight and versatile for all of our needs! We run it on the backcountry trails in alaska.. almost like.it was built to run here exclusively! Fanner is a spirited engine and the clutch makes it feel stronger and faster. Articulating rear suspension finishes this sled off to allow for any utility use.. even with a trailer attached for ice fishing etc. It has got the combination we had desired. This is a fantastic sled for the money.
Date published: 2020-02-24
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent beginner sled Bought a year ago and have now had sufficient time to test it out. Having never operated a sled before this one has more than enough power for what I need. The only thing I would add is a stiffer rear suspension (mine is maxed) to accommodate larger riders and passengers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from First new machine since 1986. :) I have been wanting a new machine for a while now. This replaces my 1986 Indy Trail 488 fan cooled. They are alot different than the older machines and it takes some getting used too. Pretty tippy on trails but maybe I'm just getting old. Other wise love the power and versatility. Bought in November 2018 and it needed a new battery in Jan 2020. Hope it would last a little longer

Date published: 2020-02-24
Rated 3 out of 5 by from A little disappointed Since I have bought my machine I find it very hard on gas and oil. Why can’t they put an engine in that uses less of both? I don’t think I would recommend it to anyone that does a lot of travelling as it would cost them an arm and a leg to run it any great distance. sorry!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from medium I am happy overall , except fuel consumption and engine performance. in canada we measure in liters per 100/km , peopel with same snomobile need 20 liters per 100/KM , my Voyageur is over than 30 liters.
Date published: 2020-02-04
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome first machine! This is my first snowmobile and I am not disappointed. Easy to handle, decent power, fan cooled means no overheating on trails and lake excursions. Very happy with it as a newbie, female rider not looking to explore mountain terrain yet.
Date published: 2020-02-02
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Happy Voyageur I've had my voyageur for 3 winters now and still love it! I do have a few mild complaints though: engine panel retention screws work ok until the keeper washer falls in the snow (and is lost) and now every time you undo it you risk losing the screw. Rubber straps still work better. I fully realize that I purchased a fan cooled engine however, for the size of this machine it is a little under powered. I added the fuel canister accessory. It works well but pales next to my wife's Linq system fuel canister. Also, the seat is bolted in place while other brands are removable by depressing tabs allowing for quick interchangeability (single/double) no tools required

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 2020 155 voyageur The sled handles great on the trail and in deep untouched powder even when towing a trappers sleigh full of gear. The best impovement would be fuel injection so it would be able to run consistently at all elevations and temperatures. Re-jetting all the time is a huge pain and I would definitely look into another model or brand the next time around. If they would offer the voyageur 155 with the 600 fuel injected motor I would have went that route for sure but they only offer the 600 voyageur in a 144 track length.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Initial problems Cost was reasonable but i needed a functioning machine for work immediately. Ran rough. Carbs were mis-adjusted from the factory and took me 2 or 3 visits to dealership to sort it out. It ran satisfactorily after that. Now in second winter at approx 1000 km. it runs very well. Good pulling power which is what I need.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great value and options . We purchased our Indy Adventure just last month , we had rented and test drive many other sleds before deciding on this snowmobile. Very comfortable and stable. We are very pleased with our purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from performs awesome When I bought this sled, I was actually thinking of a different model. This Indy was sitting on the showroom floor and was equipped with exactly the option package I was looking for, so I purchased it instead. I am extremely pleased with the performance and handling of my machine

Date published: 2020-08-14

Date published: 2020-03-02
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great sled but track very noisy. Overall great ride, handling, deep snow capability and functionality. I gave it a 3 because the very annoying track vibration and noise diminishes the experience to the point that I regret buying it over the Expedition. Very disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun and Function Great sled, I'm a big guy (6'5") and it fits perfect for everyday riding. Power/torque/gearing is great on the twisty trails, and obviously great for towing and hauling. So far so great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keeps up with Mountain Sleds I had owned an older 600 Widetrak and loved it, this new model is an over the top step up. Still a great work horse with the wide track but the power and handling is far above my expectations.

Date published: 2020-02-25
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unbreakable Bought this couple months ago and did everything possible with it and to it, non stop every day and haven’t had a hitch yet.
Date published: 2020-02-24
Date published: 2020-02-24
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sled for when it's not all just work I've been needing a sled that will do the heavy lifting when required but still be able to get out and play and have fun, very impressed so far. Great ride for the old guy that still has some fight in him.
Date published: 2020-02-24
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent product Good in deep snow, good storage and rider comfort. Track is noisy (needs to be fixed) , too high ski pressure set at factory. Battery weak at -20 F. Would not start engine.

Date published: 2020-02-24
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reliable, tough. Excellent on and off trail handli I’ve always rode BRP snowmobiles , because of my local dealer I switched to Polaris and have been quite happy with the change.
Date published: 2020-02-19

Rated 3 out of 5 by from stuff to adresse in futur, well love the machine a few thing should be address, engine problem, track problem at 5000 km, is not good, been driving snowmobile for 45 yrs plus, track is way to aggressive for the width 20 inch, should be more closer log so it would drive smoother, clutching should be lower rpm,

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great towing capacity, winch works great used it on a 4 day remote trip, mileage is good, ride is verge good, lots of towing capacity, pulled a 800 lb. in sled with ease. miss the storage under the seat of my old sidetrack. does have lots of storage room in rack

The sleigh got buried so I unhooked. Was dead stopped and stuck in the slush. Once sleigh was unhooked it walked out of there. Unbelievable...

I have noticed the chain drive is very loud. I assume that is normal as I cant see any abnormal wear and it was inspected by Elk Island Sales before I received it.My son loves the sled and I hope it lasts many many years.

Our 7 year old jumped on it right away and took off, light and easy to transport makes the sled easy to put in the back of the van with all 5 family members. Kids start it with ease everyone. Very happy with the purchase

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Loved the styling & graphics The engine performance and clutching work in perfect harmony. My only recommendation would be a variable thumb & hand warmer controls. Low is not warm enough on cold days and hi is too hot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from no handwarmers I bought for xmas present. the kids love it. they do not - and therefore, I do not - love that it has no hand warmers. who builds a kid's without handwarmers? perhaps I should be asking - who buys a kid's sled without handwarmers. I tried to buy the Yamaha 120 - which has handwarmers - but they were are sold out. the 120 Indy is a great sled, but it'd be better with handwarmers.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Kids love it... But We have two of these and they ran great the first year we had them. Next season not so much, three times I had to clean the carbs. In one season! We run 91 octane in them all the time and they still act up. We will see what this winter brings.
