The ultimate mountain sled.

2020 600 PRO-RMK® 155 is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 151.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing beast!! I received my new toy, last month, and I just finished the motor break in...its unbelievable the throttle reaction and the power of this machine!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Terrible lag and boggging This sled bogged out and lagged even on clean plugs. It needs a re map of the engine for sure. also your A arms are so soft my team went through 9. My skidoo buddies didn’t break one. You need to make them stronger. You also need a better key set up. It needs to be a tether key! You need a digital gas gage and not a manual one. You need a starter product that competes with the “shot” on skidoo! Use a mini turbo that fills from riding it or pulling it over. Use that pressure to run the starter. I really hope you take this serious. A lot of rider in Maine that love Polaris keep saying those are 1 priority for you to improve.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loving the 850 I have a 2017 800 rmk axys... absolutely love it.. it’s been completely bomb proof and wouldn’t trade it for the world. Have 2000 miles on it and 1000 of those miles have been tuned. The thing is a monster.... however i acquired my 850 in October and haven’t been able to ride it very often yet.... however this thing is a beast. Aside from being the best snowmobile chassis in the game... It pulls so much harder than any other 2 stroke sled I’ve ever been on... real happy with my 2020 850 so far. Can’t wait to get it in the deep snow this coming weekend. Thanks Polaris for making the best snowmobile on the market. Keep doing what you guys do every year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun snowmobile First snowmobile I snow checked and build exactly the way I wanted. I ordered a 155 chassis and removed the factory rear skid and track and replaced it with a 163 skid and track. (Hoping Polaris will pick up on this new trend) I also replaced the factory suspension with raptor kinetics. Then I added the Zollinger racer lite weight rotating mass kit and Kurt gear down. Then came the turbo. I chose the silber turbo for the price point and the reviews of how the kit ran with the new patriot engine. The axys chassis is proven and a world class starting point. I’d like to see Polaris set up the game and change the game with factory turbo and shorter chassis.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wish I had more time Unfortunately, was plagued with bad bog and decreasing performance on my first two rides of the season to point where I couldn't trust it in any climbing or deep powder situation without losing power and getting stuck. Dealer reflashed and switched primary weights (had high altitude weights for Michigan conditions). Got two abbreviated rides in after that and was certainly better but didn't get chance to push it and had a couple minor bogs on flat take offs. Runs good but doesn't have the arm stretching power I hear others describe. Wish I had more time and frankly, nervous going into next year with only 600 miles.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible I bought the new 850 Polaris rmk and I am very dissatisfied with the way I've been treated from Polaris, I had trouble from the get go .!! It was hard starting from day one and Polaris did nothing about it, I had brought it in to the dealership 4 times before they tore it down and found a burnt bearing and a seal in the crank case was out, finally had it rebuilt ! Than got back and 3 miles in to my trip the engine light went on and the water pump went out and they tore it down again ! Have only 3oo miles on it not happy with 3 trips out west and couldn't hardly ride it and Polaris won't do anything about it !
Date published: 2019-04-18
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Absolutely love the chassis ! Absolutely love how the sled handles and goes in the right trees in stuff . That being said you guys have to do some work to the motor. This sled bogs so bad that it often causes me to get stuck in the worse situations . So much that I almost jumped ship on the 850 and went back to an 800 . I don’t trust this motor with all of the failures that Have happened , I have seen multiple seized motors on some of my buddies sleds when the sled is not bogging and not running right it is a powerhouse and flat out rips! I have a video of the sled bogging for like 45 seconds it won’t let me attach it below .
Date published: 2019-05-04
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Night and day So far it’s been a great sled. Night and day compared to the pro chassis. Had some issues with the clutch adjuster coming loose but other than that it’s good.

PRO-RMK® 163
Starting at $13,599 US MSRP

The world's best mountain sled.

2020 800 PRO-RMK® 163 is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 221.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great machine I snow checked this machine and i am loving it good power and fun to ride!!
Date published: 2020-01-23
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Multiple breakdowns and ruined trips I have had multiple problems with the reliability of my machine. Have had a horrible bog that still isn’t fixed. I’ve had two trips which my sled has had check engine lights that resulted in the sled shutting off and having to pushed into the trailer because it wouldn’t run. The bag I bought has two broken buckles and two broken tunnel attachments. I buy new machines along with my friends to not have reliability issues especially in the backcountry where we ride and everyone that took the bait on the new 850 has had issues, whether complete engine failure, poor running engines or unreliable failures.
Date published: 2019-04-17
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Focus more on reliability than lightweight. Lightweight is important in a mountain sled, but Polaris has taken it a bit too far as lightweight is now bordering on flimsy. The rear 1/3 of the running boards still hold too much snow and ice. I am coming from the Pro RMK chassis, and the Axys just doesn't seem to get up on the snow as well. There is also is way too much vibration coming from the track(tension and alignment adjusted). Only 350 miles on sled and it doesn't want to go into reverse, won't rev up and backfires. Manufacturing quality and reliability should always be the first priority before weight savings or any other advancement!
Date published: 2020-01-16
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Jury is still out My third Snow Checked new sled doesn't disappoint.....much I've broken it in per the manual and it runs and handles amazing, most of the time. It's experiencing a random stall that happens at the most inopportune moments, typically after a big climb or slamming on the brakes. Sled only has about 90 miles on it. Checked all the wiring and going to confirm the belt deflection next ride. If that doesn't work, it's going back to the dealer. I'm aware that I'm not the only rider in the area experiencing this on the new 2020 850 so I hope they figure it out quick, because the sled is amazing when it's not stalling randomly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ski Lifting Fun Sled has been a blast I have 415 miles on it now and after getting my suspension set it has worked great. So much fun jumping around in the snow and this thing climbs great. The 850 motor was a needed bump to remain competitive but honestly would have still bought this sled with the react front wnd and an 800 motor. Coming off a 2012 Pro Rmk 163 that had 9000 kilometers on it this is a major upgrade and I couldn't be happier. I would prefer if polaris integrated a magnetic teather like srticat or a key system like ski doo. I dont like that the sled comes with no teather and I dont like the OEM teather as I find on my last sled it would get iced up and not work.
Date published: 2020-01-16
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Deep powder monster! The new Patriot engine has ran exceptionally well over the last two seasons. There was some bogging issues at first, but the Polaris re-flash seems so have eliminated that problem. My only issues so far are the same problems that existed on my previous 2015 800 RMK which have carried over into the new model such as; the ability of the throttle lever to maintain a tight contact with the handle bar, weak A-arms that seem to bend if you hit anything as small as a stick, and the terrible scratchers. But aside from those issues, the sled sherds snow like nothing else and it’s response to steering and carving is insane!
Date published: 2020-01-15
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great machine, but lacks adjustability. I purchased this machine as a snow check last year. The sled runs great and has given me no trouble as of yet. However reports of the 850 engine having reliability issues have me very worried that I might be left stranded out on the trail with a blown motor. Regardless the sled has great power, and great ergonomics. It is a very planted and flat running sled which is good in some conditions but poor in other conditions. I would like to have more adjustability in the rear suspension to be able to get the sled to pop up the front end a little more when necessary. If Polaris can come up with a way to make the sled very adjustable for rider preferences they would have the ultimate package.
Date published: 2019-04-17
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun to Ride, easy to handle I've now put 500 mountain miles on the new 850 and it handles like a dream. I don't feel like I need to upgrade much besides the suspension, but I had planned on doing that anyways.

PRO-RMK® 174
Starting at $14,299 US MSRP

The ultimate mountain sled.

2020 800 PRO-RMK® 174 is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 27.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Insane machine ! Looks perfect all black with SCS! Picked this up new one of the hold overs. Saw the color scheme and was exactly what I would wrap it like but with SCS everything is painted so looks even better. 174 track was tearing up anything when the same sled with a 163 track kept spinning. Engine wise i don’t know what a 850 would be like. The 800 if I’m not careful will make me grip hard not to get pulled off the sled. Hunting sled, not a weekend toy. And yes I live in a state that I can hunt in certain units 11 months of the year. So long track to pull a sled with gear and pelican rifle cases on the tunnel. No issues very happy with that extra 3in grip and the length for my intended usage of the machine. So color scheme 100% and intended use and performance 100%.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loving my first sled! I have never been into sledding until my career path took me into my current occupation. They are sledders. I rode a 16 800 RMK Pro that belonged to the owner and was hooked. I love this sport and wanted my own. I snowchecked a 19 850 Axys RMK 174 and haven't looked back. No issues, starts on the first pull of the rope and awesome to ride. Thank you.
Date published: 2019-04-17
Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's a deep snow monster! I own both a Ski Doo 850 and a Polaris 850. I think both are great machines, in the deep snow and in the trees the Polaris is a monster, just churning through the tough terrain at a slow pace while still having enough mid to top end to go hammer down and work through nasty terrain.
Date published: 2019-04-18
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great mountain sled! I love this sled! Took me places I never thought I go reach. This sled is a real mountain goat! Never had any mechanical issues, just gas up and ride all day.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Steep and deep Best part of having a new polaris 850 is upsetting the skidoo guys
Date published: 2019-04-17
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Had high hopes but we shall see. I bought this sled with high hopes. Performance etc was as expected. However a few issues arose due with the motor. It will he going to the dealer next week and I expect if all goes well and it is taken care of this sled will be awesome. I noted various other consumers have had similar issues so I am expecting it to be fixed this one time perfectly. Otherwise sled rips, and is super “clickable” even with the 174 track. It exceeded my expectations

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So nice to handle This is my second year with it and even though I did have a bit of fueling problems last year I like the sled more every time I ride it. It handles so nice and always gets me up the mountain where I want to go.
Date published: 2020-01-19
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great new front suspension Very happy with the power and handling of the sled being a 174. It doesn’t not feel that long at all! The PIDD dash is second to none love the gps features !

SKS 155
Starting at $13,799 US MSRP

The most versatile deep snow crossover.

2020 800 SKS 155 is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 85.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy!! I bought this sled 3 weeks ago and just got back from my first trip. It was mostly a trail ride trip in the upper peninsula of Michigan. I was very impressed with the handling, maneuverability and comfort in a trail setting, even with my ski stance set at 39 inches. It handled way better than my previous sled which was a Polaris SBA 144 2.0. We also found some really nice fresh powder power line and off trail areas. This is where the sled really excelled! Very easy to side hill and flick around from one ski to the other. The sled only has 450 miles on it, but as of right now, I couldn't be happier!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not what Ithought, but still awesome! I spring ordered this snowmobile because Polaris did a great job advertising the new 850 to be a big power plant, so I ordered a 850 155 sks because where I live we have low snow conditions but I also travel to where the deep lives. My expectation of the 850 was that it has a ton of low end power which I was right and wrong about. It has about the same low end as the old 800 has. In saying that the 850 dominates on the high end power! The sks takes me everywhere that I want to go, glides through the steepest slopes and pulls through the deepest of pow. Even though the 850 wasn’t what I was expecting, I’m still quite pleased with this snowmobile!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SKS-The One Quiver You Need In The Arsenal Where do I start with the SKS? I guess I have a little spot in my heart for the new release of this sled, as my first exposure to a long track and the off trail, deep snow riding world was a 2003 SKS 800 144. I digress, this was a no brainer for me when it was re-released, and I was coming off a 2011 Pro RMK 800. I live in NH, where our winters are widely variable; we could have 5+ feet of snow in the woods and elevations above 3,000' or low snow winters where you're lucky to get off trail. I ride with a mixed group of riders as well, some love trail, others ride the woods, so I needed a sled that could let me go tear up 150 miles of trail one weekend, and then ride up in the 7,000+ ft mountains of McCall, Idaho in 8' of powder. I can absolutely vouch that this sled meets that demand 100%. Sure, it's slightly heavier than a pro, but it's going to be with the extra cooler, which works excellent. In riding with Pro's on trail, I never needed to drop my scratchers and constantly stay in the 125 degree range. I went with a 2.25" track, which is not commonly seen, and it was the best decision I could've made. The 2.25 Peak gives you wicked bite on the trail for a mountain track, but shreds powder and climbs just as good as my old Series 2.4. Gearing is spot on for this sled, it climbs great, gets on the surface with the perfect amount of RPMs, and hits great top speeds for a long track on the trails. I do think the SKS could use some heavier/stronger valving in the rear to eat up those harsher trail bumps a little easier, but that really isn't a significant issue. This really is the perfect sled for the guy or girl that loves powder and trees, but still may put on 1,000 trail miles in a season and hang with the short tracks! And let me assure you, you won't be stuck in the lower, flatter zones when riding with the Pro RMKs, it hangs with the best of them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes ya feel like a pro Awesome first experience.....always bough second hand sleds and when I seen the new style axys come out I told myself if they come out with a MOUTAIN axys I'm buying one.... And then the SKS came out I spring ordered one right away didn't matter what happened in life I was getting that snowmobile ..... Truth be told I have never felt so ALIVE!!! If bin riding for many years around our northern ontario terrain and last year was the first time I got my stuff together and took my SKS for a journey across our beautiful country and went riding in BC....... Wel lets just say I was blown away of the terrain and how I was able to learn more and more everyday how to conquer it with ease with not only my new Polaris but my awesome tour guide/friends from BC we able to give me the experience of a life time.... Hence saying that this guy is now moving to BC !!!! Hahaha yes I am and yes snowmobiling is life for me..... U real how I love my sled ...... Great product guys keep up the great work ... Amazing engineering and great aggressive looks !!! BRAAAAAP

Rated 5 out of 5 by from magical mountain sled With the amazing agility of the AXYS chassis and the great power-to-weight ratio, this sled makes me look great. Playing in the tree-studded mountain slopes is awesome, with the ability to "crawl" through tight spots and blast up and over ledges. Carving like no other. I like the extra cooler on the access trails.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 100% purchase. Snow check is the way to go. Everything you could ever want and more. The best machine on the market. If any of you are doubting this machine on its trailing capabilities, don’t. I trail ride this machine 100km+ every ride. It’s a dream and a beast in the deep snow.

RMK® Assault® 155
Starting at $13,499 US MSRP

The tough-as-nails backcountry original for extreme conditions.

2019 800 RMK® Assault® 155 is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 28.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looking for more 2016 Assault 800 155. One season old has 1500 miles on. Has been a worthy machine. Possibly the best machine I have ever owned. However there are a few things that I felt could have improved. Such as the the weak rear bumper that brakes because you drag you flap. The giant oaf skis it comes with, I rock the ones off an 06 best ski ever. The spindles are weak and break at the weak point every time. I also feel that the clutching or perhaps the gearing in the machine could be better than it is. I could go on and on about my sled that's it for now. I will say it's a great machine and still can be improved.
Date published: 2016-09-01
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light, rolls over effortlessly Best fit a finish ever, about time! Engine technology is the only issue this sled has. Platform is excellent, don't mess with it. Engine needs attention every two years. Focus on technology in the engine. It may not be an issue on trail sleds, however on these sleds that are pushed harder and turning more track, it is an issue. I had a 2009, 2010, 2011,2013, and now 2016, the only one with no engine issues was the 2011, not a great percentage!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You Need to be Assaulted Bought my new Assault 800 just before x-mas, set belt tension as it was very loose from factory. Did the break in and changed the spark plugs after break in. Since then just been smiling. It has lots of power and great suspension, I am very happy with it. The only thing that made me scratch my head was that a tether is now an option. This is my first new sled in almost 30 years and all the new ones I had when I was younger had tethers stock (safety feature). All and all a great sled and I would recommend it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes a rider better I've ridden backcountry for 3 decades and owned 9 different sleds. I loved my first RMK assault, went places and did things I just couldn't do before. My new AXYS RMK Assault is a whole other level again. Holds a side hill line effortlessly, changes lines with ease. It just plain floats on top of the snow, goes where you want, turns when you want, holds the line you want. It makes me a better rider with less effort.
Date published: 2016-09-17
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Machine! This is the first new sled that I have owned so it took some getting used to for sure. I have over a thousand miles on the sled now and after playing around with the suspension adjustments a little bit here and there it is amazing how smooth and comfortable this machine is. The RMK Assault 155 is so much fun off the trail and on the trail, this machine has gone everywhere that I have wanted it to and done it with ease. Even when I was trying to get it stuck the 800 RMK Assault 155 just pulls it self out in whatever direction you point it in.

RMK® 144

All-purpose deep snow tough.

2020 600 RMK® 144 is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent This is my 3rd version of the 600 RMK. The noticeable difference is the IGX rear suspension which is leaps and bounds better than the Pro Ride's rear suspension. The front suspension is also an upgrade over the Pro Ride. The lighter weight is also a plus. The ergonomics are a huge improvement The only complaint is the hand warmers are not very warm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from it is exactly what i wanted. I ordered this RMK 600 in May 2017, Snow Check, I have over 30 years experience riding sleds of all sorts. This RMK 600 is Exactly what I wanted, this season I have been able to put almost 800 miles on it, and I smile every time, Then I hit the throttle and hold on. I ride the Vast trails and I love hitting the Powder , this Machine does it all. I just wish it came with the walker evens front shocks ,I do not like the stock shocks on the front. the rear is perfect.

SKS 146
Starting at $13,399 US MSRP

The most versatile deep snow sled.

2020 800 SKS 146 is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 98.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The SKS is just what I needed. I’m in my 50s now. My step and deep days are few now. I’ve have ridden several types of deep snow sleds over the last few years. While some shine in certain areas, there would be glaring flaws in other areas. This 850 SKS does have a flaw, it’s not good at steep and deep. I am fine with this flaw. It does everything else so well for me, all I do is smile while riding. The engine is the best 2 stroke engine I have ever driven. The ergos are good for me. The suspension does very well on trail and meadows. It just fits me. My biggest regret is not having this available sooner. I am very happy with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Suggestion I started with the stock lenght, but than I realized I do more backcountry than I tought. So I put on a track extension kit to go from 146 to 155. It is fabulous, I still have my trail suspension front and rear, my trail seat and my trail handlebar. I call it the ultimate crossover. It is still going very well on the trail AND almost as good as an Pro RMK off track... I can still put my passenger seat on, and that is something you cannot do with the SKS 155... If Polaris would sell a SKS 155 with the same handlebar, seat, suspension as the SKS 146, I would definately buy it!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very fun and agile sled Overall, I’m very impressed with this sled. I’ve been on a ski doo the last 3 Years and it was a very nice trail machine but you would have to pay for it. This Polaris is an animal off trail. Perfect weapon for the Upper peninsula of Michigan. Surprisingly does pretty well on trail when you put the ski stance out to the widest setting. It runs very well with the extra cooler and new temp stat. Pretty consistent at 97 to 100 degrees. Only bad things I can say is the plastic tab broke on the side panel and the plastic cracked where your knees rest against. That kind of surprised. Other than that, RPM’s have been spot on so far, I just tipped over 600 miles of off trail/on trail riding. Motor is strong and it pulls hard. I would say it feels stronger that ski doo renegade I had last year. Great price point compared to ski doo sno check and options, better shocks, and guage all made me decide to make the switch. Overall impressed so far.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect U.P. sled I bought this sled because I currently own a 2016 sks 155 and was looking for a little more of a challenge where I ride the most. I ride in Upper Michagan almost every weekend that the snow allows and do about 90% off-trail riding while I am there. I love the set up of this sled for this style of riding because of the mountain front end on it and perfect track matched up track that gets you through deep snow while riding tight trees. I took this sled with me out west a couple times this winter and was very surprised with how well it was able to get around in very deep snow. I felt I was able to go most places that my 155 takes me but found out soon that only being a 146 and having tipped rails there were limits. Overall I am extremely happy with this sled and how it handles but there's a couple things I would change. The biggest thing.... literally the seat. The stock seat is much too wide and makes jumping from side to side off-trail a little more difficult than I would like. Also while side hilling the seat seems to dig into your leg. One other thing is the handle bar set-up. It feels too much like a trail sled compared to riding my AYXS 155. I have owned more than just a few sleds over recent years and have not been more happy with my purchase than I have been with my 146 sks.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Blowing 2 belts in under 700 miles Loved my sks 146 850 when I got it, then blew a belt by 350 miles. Had a slight bogging issue, Pat's Motorsports took care of it and it ran great until 675 miles when the 2nd belt blew. Belt deflection was where it was suppose to be, had to use my 2015 sba 800 as a backup, cause I refused to waste part of my day running into town to get another belt. Love the low end torque in the deep snow but was scared I'd have to walk out of the back woods in the western U.P.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice sled. But needs a better coating on skid. I bought my 2018 sks 146 in December first. I got back from my only trip this winter on January 5th, and the sled had 500 miles on it. It's been in the garage since, and the rear skid is all rusted. The black coating was warn off and bare metal showing on the skid, resulting in rust. You guys need a better coating. I don't even want to take it in because they're gonna find a way to blame me for it, yet I had nothing to do with a coating failure.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great sled. Couple small issues I have with the sled. Rear bumper, shocks and the drivers. Would be nice to see real anti ratchet drivers. The center driver only works if your track is extremely tight. Rear bumper bends very easily when pulling a catwalk. And would be nice to see fox floats as an option for these sleds.

Switchback® Assault® 144
Starting at $12,199 US MSRP

Off-trail agility and on-trail confidence for aggressive backcountry riding.

2020 600 Switchback® Assault® 144 is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 436.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Polaris Snowmobile to date! I currently have 2400 miles on my 800 assault. This is the best sled Polaris has built to date. I have owned almost 30 sleds in my lifetime with most of them being Polaris. My most recent Polaris snowmobiles where a 2012 Rush 800 Le and a 2016 axys Rush 800 Le. This new combination of Axys and Assault chassis is amazing. Very predictable handling, you almost can't tell you are riding a 144 inch snowmobile. The traction is amazing. High-speed stability is much better than a short tracked snowmobile. This is also the fastest Polaris I have ever owned. The fun factor is awesome. On trail and off Trail the Assault absolutely rocks. It truly is the best of both worlds combined into a great chassis.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WICKED SLED Being a short track Rider all my life, always told my Buddies that I woke never go to anything longer than a 121" skid. I would rate my driving style as 50/50. Drive trails 50% of the time to get to the cut lines and drifts the other 50%. Well when this SBA became available I couldn't pass it up and it's been the best sled I have ever bought. The 2" track is fine for trail riding then turn off into the powder and blast through the drifts. The fun factor on the SBA is a solid 10/10. Hit the throttle and skis come up and the machine takes off. I can't imagine how there could be a better sled made for my riding style.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from CRAZY FUN 24/7 I have been sledding for many years and many thousands of miles and must say this sled is awesome! I have a 2017 LE 800 Assault and a standard 2017 800 Assault. Just got home from a 500 mile three day ride and just can't get that sled out of my head. The suspension is calibrated way to hard from stock as although I weigh 215 lbs all springs are set to the softest settings. The clickers are also set close to the softest setting. The tall wide windshield is the only one that gives decent wind protection especially when really cold. This new Axys Assault is just plain stupid fun all the time your riding! It is very addictive and I can't wait ti ride again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Underwhelmed but rides great... I really like how the sled rides but it is really delicate. I must have picked a rock up on the trail and it hit the heat exchanger, which required the whole tunnel and engine cradle to be replaced. This repair was more than a third of the initial value of the sled. Seems like you should be able to replace the heat exchanger and the heat exchanger lines that run down the tunnel. After it was fixed I rode it home and put it outside for the night. The other 10 sleds we had in our group started right up but not my Assault. I could ride Sunday with everyone else and I had to take it to the dealer. After 3 sets of plugs and 4 hours, we got it started.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from An absolute blast to ride! I snow checked my 2019 Switchback Assault 850 after loving my 2017 800 Switchback Assault. Overall I love the machine. As with my 2017, the hand warmers never worked very well. I had a front shock fail due to an assembly issue. The reflash the dealer did needs more work. Since the reflash, no matter how good the non ethanol fuel is it has detonation knock even in non premium/ethanol mode in the mid range. That said, I have almost 3,000 miles on the machine and have enjoyed every mile. One set of plugs replaced at 500 miles and the original belt is still on the machine! Hoping to get the issues with the machine ironed out before next season.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Endless power and unbelievable handling - Bought 2 Purchased 2 on snowcheck- to add to the fleet my wife and I kept our 2015, 2016 ProS 800's thinking that they would be the trail sleds- we were pleasantly surprised that the new Assault Axys 144's trail like the Pro S's- which have become back up loaner sleds! I have a 2014 Assault 144 2" which my wife would not ride, this is not the case on the 2017 she loves it as much as her Pro S 800 actually she likes it MORE! Took the family to West Yellowstone and my daughter road the 2017 Assault 144 2" and has decided to sell her turbo Viper! In the mountains on and off trail I was never let down plenty of power and track for my style of riding went almost everywhere the 155's went!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Switchback Assault Hands down the best sled I’ve ever owned! I have been a loyal Polaris snowmobile owner and rider for over 40 years. With out a doubt, the Switchback Assault 144 is the best all around sled I have ever ridden....period! This machine rips the trails and provides comfort for all day riding. I ride trails the majority of the time and can proclaim with confidence that the 144” track is the way to go. The 1.6” Cobra track hooks up like no other track I’ve owned, and the track length bridges the chatter bumps beyond belief. Literally as fast as you want to go...this sled will take it all. An awesome sled for an all day on the trail experience. Wow!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hands down the best do anything sled you can buy. Coming from a 2015 Switchback Assault, the 2017 Axys is by far and away an all-around better machine in every way. On trail even with the 2inch track option this snowmobile handles amazingly well it's only a few ticks behind a Axys Rush coming in and out of the corners, however in the 20+ miles of rutted up woops the Assault's rear skid bridges and skims over them much better than the Axys Rush demo I rode on the same bad section of trail. Trails are where the Pro Ride Assaults suffered and when the Axys was announced I Spring ordered it immediately without question. On the other end I'm in no way an experienced mountain or off trail rider but venturing into the deep stuff I'm able to get to places I would dare in the past. This machine just comes up on top of the snow effortlessly. Every single negative I had with my 2015 Assault has been addressed with this machine. I plan to have this sled for a very long time.

Switchback® PRO-S
Starting at $12,099 US MSRP

The smoothest ride and handling.

2020 600 Switchback® PRO-S is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 246.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic snowmobile with great reliability I snowchecked my Polaris Switch back Pro S so I could get exactly what I wanted. The ergonomics are great. Reliability has been 100% dependable. I have been a loyal Arctic Cat rider for 13 years. Had many issues with the 3 Procross chassis sleds I owned. Finally having a dependable snowmobile has been great and the ride is awesome. I still own a 2015 Arctic Cat but it is nothing more than an ornament in my trailer. Don't really need a back up sled when I travel but it comes along any way. I would definately buy this snowmobile again if I had it to do over.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not as good as I hoped, but still very good I've been riding Ski-doo since 2003. I didn't like the doo's cornering, and heard about the new Polaris from a friend. It does corner well, but the power is not comparable to the 800 Doo last winter. I did put a two up seat on it, so maybe that what is slowing me down on the lakes. My son's new MXZ 800 last year was much faster when we raced. Plus, I had a small exhaust leak that dropped small amounts of oil on the garage floor. Not a big deal, but I never had an issue with Ski Doo. Yes, I'm being critical, but I'd like to see Polaris do better. Being an American company I will route for you guys each and every year!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from awesome comfort, power, and efficient! I love it! I ordered my 17 switchback 800 pro s at snow check from Edge Performance in Bradford. Craig and his eam are awesome and a pleasure to deal with. I waited feverishly for it to arrive. I suffer from wfss. I've been a Polaris owner since 1988 and this was the most excited I've been waiting for my sled in a while. I wasn't disappointed. The powerband is endless, the torque when you push the flipper is like a jet taking off. The most satisfying though is the ride and comfort on the trail. I'm a traveller that puts on between 2 and 3000 miles per year and ride is very important. At the end of a 200 mile day I get off and I'm not tired or worn out. The handling is fantastic in the twisties and on camel bumps. Polaris great job again on a fantastic sled! Kevin

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great handling I bought this sled while vacationing in Maine. My wife was riding another switchback and when I told her to try my 2016 Pro S ,she did, then wouldn’t get off it, lol. So,we traded hers in and I got a 2019 Pro S. What we both love about the Pro S switchbacks is the comfort when riding is top notch, it steers easy , corners great and performs fantastic both on and off trail. Since my wife switched sleds she is able to stay out on the trails longer with less fatigue and according to her if all men bought their wives new switchback Pro S’s, they would have no trouble getting them out on the trails enjoying this great sport.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great ride, nice power! We purchased 2 of the Axys Switchbacks about 6 weeks ago. We love the ride of the long track Axys. The new digital display and all the options it provides is great also. We ride in northern Wisconsin so we were lucky to have plenty of snow to ride and enjoy this winter. Tho only slight issue we both have experienced is if the sled sits for an hour after riding to a resturarant both of our sleds will surge a bit while going slow for the first few hundred feet, but then clears up. Our dealer, Schroeders, was great and did a really nice job of explaining everything during the sale and when we picked them up. Love the accessories available and purchased. So far, very pleased!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing Except for useless GPS It took FOREVER to get. Late December. 9 months, Could of had a baby in that time. Got new ordered GMC Yukon XL in 7 weeks. Had to cancel early snowmobile trip. Amazing ride/suspension AXYS! 5 Stars. Zero stars on that navigation system. Had to hook up our Garmin. Got the huge windshield, special order should be an option when building/ordering a sled. It’s wonderful for blocking wind on hands too. But had to put aftermarket mirrors on again from my old Polaris that go on the handle bars. Another thing that needs to be a realistic option. This gas gauge seems to work way better than on my previous Polaris 2013 and current 2012. New buttons for hand warmers, reverse etc excellent!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for what I needed I am back to snow machines in my 30s and wanted something smaller that I could handle with on and off trail capabilities and this machine was a perfect fit. The sizing of the 550 meant I could maneuver it without fatigue that I have felt on other machines. I wanted something simple and basic to maintain. The 144” track is perfect for off trail when needed.

TITAN® SP 155
Starting at $13,299 US MSRP

The most agile and adaptable extreme crossover.

2020 800 TITAN® SP 155 is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Titan is a BEAST!!!! This sled is a true do it all sled, and thats what I wanted. I can ride trails with my ski up the Polaris rush's track and keep right with them. I hauled 35' telephone poles into a cabin to use for dock stringers, Then turned around kicked it into high gear and carved down logging roads with 3' plus, untouched powder on them. I tried to get this thing stuck all day and just couldn't do it. This thing pulls my otter fish tub so effortlessly. Added scratchers and with the radiator up front never have to worry about over heating. Just love this thing, and with us having snow from Sep-May, it was a very practical purchase for me. Ps Polaris should sponser me for using this sled the way I do!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great all around sled. I was looking for a sled I could use for work, fishing and riding. this was the right choice. We had 4+ feet of snow this year and when I got this sled home I went on private trails that had not been ridden on all year with no issues. Pulled ice shack on and off the pond through deep snow without a problem. On top of this I can ride the trails and keep up with the guys when crossing the lakes. Great all around sled.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from More than expected .... Bought a TITAN XC as a snowcheck last fall and now, i have 500 km on it... Really impressed on how easy a machine this big is so easy to operate! In fact, closer to an RMK than a 20 inch track machine in behavior, which makes it an exciting machine! Plenty of fun in deep snow, great power and sexy look! On step ahead in the game ! Great shot POLARIS! It's my 10 th POLARIS sled and sure won't be the last! I actually own 2 machine, having also a 2014 RMK PRO. I know what I'm talking about, have been sledding strongly for the last 40 years and can't stop!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great machine Machine is unbelievable, fast agile and strong, I’m very impressed the only issue with the machine I wish I had more storage, like under seat compartment like the older wide track, and only big concern I have with the machine is when I back up in deep snow it goes pretty far but my clutch compartment gets snow in it and causes the belt to slip, other than that the machine is flawless, thanks

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very nice utility sled Purchased the Titan XC this year. Polaris Axys chassis is very nice, extremely comfortable and very compliant to rider input. I purchased the Titan as I felt it would fit the role, as billed, as an extreme crossover. Unfortunately for my intended purposes the 20" rear end continues to give it a utility feel to the rear skid. By far this is the sportiest utility sled I have ever driven. Quite fun, very comfortable and extremely competent. It is not nearly as playful versus a 15" skid. The 800 HO motor is amazing. Spectacular power - two thumbs up! Clutching and H-L-N-R gearing is spot on too! Great job on this Polaris. If you want an amazing utility sled that is sporty and can do a lot get this sled. Don't fool yourself into thinking it isn't still a utility sled. I did and that is the reason I have since sold it. I will be getting a Freeride 154" or SKS 155" instead. Overall I thought it was a 5-star sled. My review is based on this sleds purpose, not what I wanted to use it for and ultimately the reason I sold it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Sled, but... I have put on about 2,200 km. Those have been a mix of logging road, hydro line and groomed trail. Sled is easily maneuverable off trail, and handles trail very well, except in tight twisty trails. Sled is excellent in deep snow, good reverse capabilities. I wish high and low gear had more separation, low should be lower, high should be higher. Sled is very hard on fuel, I knew that before buying so no surprise. Oil consumption is terrible. My last trip was 26:1 on mostly groomed trail riding. I have inquired with Polaris, and they say this is normal. Sled smokes heavily when idling. The gearing I can live with, the oil consumption impacts how I wanted to use sled. Polaris - fix the oil use, great sled otherwise

TITAN® Adventure 155
Starting at $15,499 US MSRP

The full-featured, do-everything crossover for maximum versatility.

2020 800 TITAN® Adventure 155 is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 72.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Go anywhere. Choosing from the broad field of sleds available today is hard. The Adventure touted the versatility (work/play) and ride I was looking for and I am not disappointed. At all. I cannot believe the improvement in ride and handling the Axys system gives over sleds just a few years old. Bumps are almost eliminated with the Fox suspension. The wide skis are there if you need them, but the step design means that they are still easy to control on groomed trails. As a two-up, the new seat is comfortable, but can disappear easily for single riding. The PIDD is a great resource for mapping, even if it could be a bit more user friendly. This is an extremely well designed and manufactured machine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2018 and 2019 titan Where to start here. I have been a die hard Polaris buyer for over 20 years, have owned over 15 Polaris snowmobiled and 3 Polaris Ranger 900 including my 2019 I’m picking up next week. This year I bought a 2019 Polaris Titan to replace my 2018 and this is by far the best all around snowmobile I have ever owned. I am heavily involved with the snowmobile club and this machine has been amazing trail riding working on the trails and going off the trails. You have to intentionally try to get this machine stuck in deep snow and with the rear winch your out in seconds if you do. The power is unbelievable and I still have not gone full out. I have closely compared the Skidoo Expedition and power accessories and ride do not compare. This year I also bought my wife a new 2018 Polaris Indy 600. Absolutely a blast to ride on the trails. I think Polaris has knocked it out of the park with the Polaris Titan.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Its a new sled ... what could go wrong ? Nothing so far. Its been brutally cold so the battery has had issues but the pull-start works every time. Its heavy, but that's what this sled is about. It definitely isn't for cutting through the forests that we have, but that isn't what its meant for. Its comfortable. Its powerful. It keeps up with the Jones. It pulls the Jones's out of trouble. Having a few other similar-function sleds in our inventory, this one shines above any other wide track two-seaters. The oil consumption is a little annoying during the break-in though, but I was advised by the dealer of this. I'm happy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not happy with the rear hand warmers The rear hand warmers won't get warm ,why ? Can you please let me know .

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable ride Good ride, but I don't like the new hood panels, uses tabs to lock and unlock and I've heard of them breaking in the cold. Also no room under the hood, especially to get to spark plugs. Hood is not designed to be worked on in the bitter cold, too many plastic parts that can break. Also cannot let it sit idling for long periods of time, it shuts off automatically, we sometimes have to let snowmobile idling while we're working outside

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not super pleased. Screws hold the spare seat on the arm rest are stripped, I need to bring that to a dealer for warranty repair. Polaris did not have all the accessories available at the time of product release (including winch and heavy duty bumper, led light bar.) Was told I did not need Tunnel Protectors at time of sale if I studded it out. Then told by a Polaris employee I needed to add Tunnel Protectors. Those were expensive and had to take the back end of the sled off to install. Beyond that the Titan is an awesome machines!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love it!! Everyone should own a 800 Titan Getting stuck with this machine is impossible. It feels like I'm floating on snow. It is extremely comfortable; good suspension and a lot of power. It is a perfect snow machine. Go out and get your own. If you live in Northern Ontario, go deal with J & J Sports in Thunder Bay. Nothing but excellent service!!!
Date published: 2018-02-24
Rated 4 out of 5 by from so far so good Very comfortable ride but a little noisy between 40-60 km/h. Great acceleration and low range works great on the bush trails. Not enough deep snow to comment on powder riding. Great storage with lots of room to utilize. Ice auger holder does the job, modified it a little so it was closer to sled. I do find the gas gauge not to be very accurate and it likes to burn oil a lot more than my assault. When cold it can be a task to get it to go in reverse no problem when warm. Even though a nice riding sled I wouldn’t make a habit of trail riding due to the cost of fuel and oil. Will be used as my fishing and exploring sled and my assault will be my trail sled. My two main concerns remains the longevity of the 800 and the high low transmission.time will tell, as mentioned so far so good

Switchback® SP
Starting at $11,299 US MSRP

Versatile crossover.

2019 600 Switchback® SP is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best crossover on the market Bought the machine a month ago and love it, the 600 has lots of power in this light nimble chassis! With the tipped rails it handles great on the trail without overheating and handles close to a mountain sled in the deep powder thanks to the axis chassis. The 87 octane methenol mode is handy for fueling in small towns that don't have premium. Used to ride a 16 renegade 600 with a 137 track and this is a lot more machine for less money.... Highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent All Around Machine This is the perfect hybrid machine, power is excellent, suspensions excellent, chassis perfect, great work! The main thing I changed was to SLP Powder Pro skis. Will being doing a clutch kit, as secondary helix is a bit bland.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing First velcro. Then the micro chip. Now Axys. Our 2017 600 Switchback SP is good enough that I suspect there is alien technology involved.
Date published: 2017-02-16
Rated 4 out of 5 by from well balanced chassis on the trails I bought this machine with the snow check program. I updated from a 2014 600 Indy. I like the front of the machine and balance in the corners while on the trail but wish it had more adjustabilty with the rear suspension to get a softer ride on rough trails. I am a 200lb rider and I have it set up as soft as possible. I liked the seat on my 2014 better due to it being not as firm and holding snow on the top. The seat is really hard, especially in cold weather. The rear shock may need to be valved softer due to it never bottoming out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best bang for your buck....excellent sled I bought it two months ago..... it's a keeper! If I had to say anything negative is the clutch side could be sealed better so the belt doesn't get wet. I'm a lake rider though!

Switchback Adventure®
Starting at $12,699 US MSRP

The most versatile, do-it-all crossover.

2019 600 Switchback Adventure® is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 65.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Polaris sled I have ever owned! Only have 500 miles on it but after a little bit of tweaking of the suspension, this beast handles great along the trails! It corners great and turns when I want it to turn. The 800 engine has the power I tell you! As soon. As you hit the throttle the power is there! No hesitation! With the axys suspension and 800 motor this I a fun sled to ride! I have been a Polaris owner for 30 years and have bought 8 sleds I have never been disappointed but I feel that that going from a 2012 600 Switchback to this 2018 was a great jump up in ride and performance! Polaris keep up the great work! From a very satisfied customer! Thanks, Mike De Vries

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent so far! The Adventure was my choice once my family decided they wanted to come back to snowmobiling. I have ridden all brands and my last sled was a 2016 Polaris Rush Pro S LE 800 with PIDD. The reason for trading it in was to have the Switchback and to purchase the 2 up seat option and maintain all the options I previously had. The Fox air shock works great with the passenger. Very easy to adjust to have the right ride. The QS3 shocks are as advertised. Great and easy to adjust. I find the stock handle bar riser too low so I transfered my Rox riser to the Adventure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast and Agile I love my new Switchback. It handles great and is fast out of the gate. I have a bad back so the suspension is the best part. It takes on the bumps with no jarring or bottoming out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfort, style and performance! I owned the 600 switchback adventure and wanted a little more of everything with the option of taking my wife along! First ride in northern Maine by Kathadin I was riding with two friends who just purchased 2 new cats. We came across a group of 20 or so sleds taking a break on the trail. Before I hit the kill button the whole group came over to check out my new sled not a word on the 2 new cats! Almost a cross between a Cadillac and corvette! Great sled!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent ride I bought 2 of these sleds in mid January 1 for me and 1 for my wife. We describe the ride when asked as "it rides like a Cadillac". I even add that this is the first sled I've ever ridden where you can see the bumps but not feel them. I have 1000 miles on mine and my wife has almost 600 miles on hers with no issues. I'm so impressed with these machines in every aspect imaginable and so is my wife.

RUSH® PRO-S

2020 600 RUSH® PRO-S is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 148.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Polaris Axys Pro-S Switchback 800 I purchased this in late January (price was right) and only have 315 miles on it. I really love the handling! This thing is just plain fun on the trails. I really wish I could have this chassis with a four stroke, after coming off of a Nytro. My only complaint is that the plastic on the right side hood bows out with the heat of exhaust and comes unclipped at the top. I needed to install the taller windshield for my liking and added some more storage. I think they should all come stock with a skid plate so I added one. Overall this is an awesome sled and a blast to ride! The PIDD gauge is great and I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Ride The Machine is still new to me as I have only put approx 400 miles on it but my first impression is very good. The suspension is awesome ... The low end power on the 600 is eye opening. Polaris does have to make a better effort regarding educating people on how to adjust the front and rear suspension. A Polaris video on the internet detailing basic suspension adjustment techniques for the Axys Rush and Switchback is definitely needed ASAP and well over-due. I still think Polaris has to improve for and finish. The paint finish needs some work. Skidoo and Yamaha def do a better job in this area. All in all I'm very impressed with this sled so far.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 2016 800s Axys I snowchecked this sled as I mostly ride groomed trails. I absolutely love the sled as it feels like I'm racing my atv. The only issue I have w/ it is that it bottoms out easily on bumps over a foot tall. I'm a very aggressive driver and couldn't get the suspension good enough and ordered a set of axis shocks all around which was a huge improvement. I do have the 121" track. Others w/ the 136" track don't seem to have that problem. Polaris needs to work on this. Other than that, I highly recommend it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Polaris pro s 800 Bought this put 91 miles on the sled check engine light came on while I was in canada for the weekend had to pay 200 for it to be towed back and 105 for the trail permit for the weekend and the hotel plus food, had to stay there due to was up with friends that all rode ski-doos and sat it hotel all weekend couldn't ride because come to find out that polaris never plugged injector is all the way to click from the factory. Code went off 76 times. After that was fixed and a really upset weekend sled is good... I called polaris and had to argue with them that it was their fault and not mine so they gave me 100 for messing up my trip which cost close to 400 for the weekend

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pro S SB Amazing handling and power I had a 2015 pro x rush and loved it, i recently traded it for a 2018 pro s switchback.. in the first week i put almost 1800kms on it with no issue.. other than a track adjustment and 7 litres of oil.. it had a nice range of trail for break in kms and has amazing trail compliance.. with the 1.250” it has minimal track spin and provides excellent hook up off start.. the motor pulls hard right upto full speed and has a better top end than my pro x did, i believe largely due to the 1.750” track... this sled seems to hold its own in the deep stuff too, so far... i love this 2018 SB 800 and look forward to many miles of grins!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nice machine but it to has some flaws I purchased a 2016 pro s 800 yes it is a very quick machine but I just went over it to prepare for the next season and noticed that half my snow flap was missing and as I got further into it I noticed that my track guides were considerably worn and the wheels were all chewed up now I'm not a aggressive rider. and I don't abuse my machine I had a 2007 600iq and never had a problem like this. It had 2800 mIles on it and last season was the first time it had a problem .headlights dash lights and taillights were inoperable was easy fix voltage regulator. I should have never sold it and now a new sled and already breaking apart I have to bring it in to the dealer and it better be fixed under warranty or I'll be back to write another review.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 2017 800 rush pro-s sno-check Overall I love this snowmobile. I sno-checked this sled ordering various options I wanted including the Hi-Lo adjustable Walker Evans shocks. The snowmobile is light, nimble, fast, and handles extremely well ! . I am a 170 lb. aggressive rider who has 35 plus years of riding experience. The suspension however is disappointing,I ordered the better shock package knowing I would ride the sled hard. No matter how I adjust the shock dampening, the snowmobile bottoms out easily over large bumps and dips. It seems the shock dampening is not calibrated for an agressive rider. Over all the ride is soft and compliante but not suited to higher speed bumps.I bought an 800 c.c.machine to ride the machine fast and hard . I feel the suspension should have come calibrated to handle the bumps and conditions one finds when riding a 800c.c.machine. This snowmobile does everything else perfect and I truly do Love the machine ! .I hope you will address the shock dampening rates for future machines.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most fun on snow! The Pro S Switchback is the most fun I have ever had on a sled. I had a 4stroke Ski doo before but it lacked any sort of excitement. The new Axys chassis on the other hand can cruise all day in comfort thanks to the excellent ergonomics and when the trails get beat up as they often do, I find myself actually riding faster as this machine soaks up the trail junk better than anything else I have ever ridden! I once had to rescue a stranded Cat owner and doubled him back out and he couldn't believe how smooth and how fast we were able to ride.

RUSH® XCR®

Race-ready strength and durability in the toughest terrain.

2019 600 RUSH® XCR® is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 88.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from What next I’ll start out by saying it can be very difficult making purchases souly based on reviews and opinions. I can actually say I was a little skeptical after researching other brands and coming to the conclusion that Polaris sleds are seemingly equivalent to all the other sled manufacturers. The skepticism lies in the fact that I got a better warranty, less expensive price tag, lightest weight, and equivalent power it seemed too good to be true. Once I was finally able to put my new sled to the test there was no ceaseing my amazement. From the thumb activated wheelie button to the telepathic ski controller I really enjoy embarrassing everyone around me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from True Trail Terrain Domination By far best handling sled I’ve ever been on! Never do I feel “out-of-control” with this sled! The superior shock package and Axys chassis gives me the confidence to ride through the roughest terrain at extreme speeds; leaving my riding buddies on other brands behind. They ask “How do you do that?” Not only does this sled perform, it’s a blast to ride because it responds extremely well to my body input.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Polaris xcr800 The shocks are awesome ! Best ever by far. smoothes out any bump. Why is there no manual for the shocks. The explanation in the sled manual is no help,on how to set up shocks. This sled needs to have storage. Why can't polaris have an optional gas can to put on the back or a bigger fuel tank, so I can ride as far as my ski doo buddies. fuel mileage is not as good as ski doo. This sled runs like crazy, 30 to 80 is unbelievable, wants to pull my arms off ! I love to ride it. Fit and finish is top notch. After I put hand guards on, I can't see anything out of my mirrors though, that needs fixed. The headlight is awesome. Polaris should put a safety teather on these sleds.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from it is a better sled than i thought it would be I just got to drive this sled last weekend. the first afternoon I thought I came of a Cadillac and got a sports car. been driving a 2015 800 axys s. I thought it was the best trail sled going , but doing some miner tweaks on suspension next morning I was impressed with the xcr 800. got the wife to take the axys and me on the xcr ,had a chance to trade back and forth. I like the xcr better and so does my wife like it better also. I wished I could move my luggage bags from the axys to this sled. I do a lot of long distance trips. I put the small rack and bag on this sled and going back to using saddle bags. the group that I travel with are all in better physical shape than me , but by the end of a days riding they are tired out and iam not. what I like about these sleds is when you come to some rough trails you just start grinning . don't try to follow a rush or axys through the rough trail or twisty trails. it cant be done.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from As advertised The sled does exactly what I wanted it to do. I have a 2016 Switchback pro x 800 and love it, great bump sled, lots of fun but it's alittle tippy when pushed in tight corners and needs more body English. The XCR is the best aggressive trail sled I have ridden. Very sharp handling requiring fair less effort and still very capable in the rough. Great shocks. The pro s sleds are way to soft for my style. Needs better instruction to understand and adjust the hi low shocks to get the most out of them. Great sled.

Well all of the have had there good points and bad. I am very happy with my choice i made. I turned 50 this year, my biggest fear was getting sore riding over long distance My first ride was 125 miles, woke up the next day like i never rode. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the sled. Snow checked the machine, Polaris' snow check program is outstanding, I love being able to change options and virtually spin the sled to view it. Outstanding. My only 2 minor complaints, I added red skis, red windshield, red flat lander seat to the machine on snow check, I'm stuck with the original skiis, windshield, and seat. As a option it would be great to get a credit or some offset so I don't have extras I'll probably never use, and it would bring the cost of the machine down also. My other complaint, this is a premium snowmobile, Polaris please add a heated visor outlet as standard equipment, please, its ridiculous that it's not standard. Aside from that, I love the machine so far. Absolutely amazing piece of machinery. i have a fantastic dealer, Trailside Sports in Espanola, Ontario. The are the best and offer top notch service. Cant say enough about them and how great they are. Cant rate reliability until I've put more miles on this machines.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As advertised 600 thinks it's a 800 in this chass I can't say enough about this chassis. I'm 49 and with a couple quick adjustments to the shocks I was riding the trails like I did when I was in my twenties. With a bad back I'm going over stutter bumps at 45 - 50 mph. End of the year 200 mile junk-it-run felt more like a ride home from the store after picking up eggs. I have 30 plus years buying Polaris sleds with 121-1.25 tracks, the 137-1.35 track on this machine is a game changer. No more don't leave the trail in this area or don't take that ditch after a fresh snow. And the light weight of this machine makes it easy to maneuver and position the sled right where you want it in deep snow or tight corners at night speed

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Sled I snow checked 2 sleds in April 2018. A Pro S and an XCR. They did not arrive until January 15 of 2019. We missed out on 2 months of great riding with no explanation or compensation from Polaris. Very disappointed in Polaris. As far as the sleds go, they are awesome sleds. They handle great. The suspension is a bit too stiff on the XCR. The fit and finish is great. I love how easy it is to take off the side panels and the hood. Only had 1 minor issue. The control module on the left side of the handlebars froze up after it got wet and then froze. So I could not use reverse or adjust the heated grips until it unfroze.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most aggressive sled I've ever driven! I put my first 100 miles on it and it keeps up with my aggressive riding style and is able to take the bumps like a champ and with the 800 HO is just a insane amount of power and having the GPS is a very cool feature, amazing suspension tuning helps because I'm a heavier rider around 260 because I lift weights so I need a more stiff setup. As of now it's the best sled I've rode!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Finally got some snow in northern Michigan and got a chance to ride. Still breaking it in and dialing in the suspension. But so so, it's awesome. Great power and throttle response

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Handling and Acceleration Although I haven't gotten to ride this one much yet this year it is very similar to my 2018 Pro S plus a better shock package and track!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 2019 Switchback XCR 850 Good sled could be great I like the ride and handling. The XCR is a little harsh and I wish I could have a better choice for suspension's the Pro S was just a little too soft. I like the XCR and will be upgrading the suspension. Re-valve and re-spring. I like the attributes of the XCR and with a suspension upgrade it will be top notch. Also please fix the starter it sounds bad when starting up around other sleds and I don't like the ring gear on the primary clutch. My last 3 sleds Polaris dealer had to fix starter engagement. Keep up the good work!!! Long live snowmobiling The great escape.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a great get on and go sled I purchased this along with two other Polaris machines for my family a couple of months ago (an Indy 550 fan and Rush 800 Pro-S). My teenage son rides this one and loves it. Hearing his accounts and having spent some time on it myself, I can attest to what a great trail sled this is. Electric start and liquid cooling make for a reliable, easy to start, powerful machine that is more than capable of any of the trail riding we could ever do. It is comfortable, light and flickable yet forgiving on hard pack, ice, fresh powder covered trails and so on. My only gripe is that its expensive to add the Polaris rear rack and cargo bag. I wish there was more included storage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from fun ride I have owned new snowmobiles since 1967 I have owned them all Yamaha, skidoo, Cat, Deer,Redline , Polaris, my last ride was o8 skidoo 600 SDI MXZ but I have to say this 600 Indy is the most fun to ride to date. it is so light in the steering and percise right on at high speed lakes or slow speed trails. motor is so quick. out of the hole and on top end ,it owns a lot of 800cc sleds. it is just a great sled, I got this Indy 20th of Dec. and I now have 600 miles on it .I would have more but are snow is gone.this is the first Polaris I have owned since my 1991 400XC

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Machine I bought this machine about a month ago and finally got to ride it last weekend Feb 8,9,10 & 11th 2018. It’s a great sled for a first timer/newer rider. I’ve ridin before but they were older machines. This is my first brand new one & I can’t complain. The only thing I’d say is get the side mirrors and the proper windshield for you. The windshield that came with it is short so the wind doesn’t flow over you, it hits you directly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2017 Polaris Indy 600 ES 1000 mile review I purchased the 2017 in Jan 2017 as a backup sled to me 2016 Yamaha Viper Turbo. I have ridden this sled on avg 100 miles / day. Positives, gets same MPG as 2017 800 ETEC I ride with. Has consumed about 1 gallon of oil so far (seems good). Excellent traction considering the .91" track and 121" length. Great weight transfer and effortless steering (lite and holds line in corners well). Its nice to not have to put new skis or 8" carbides on a sled to make it handle. Motor sounds great, zero issues. saw 106 on speedo (road) pretty snappy to 90 mph. Ride quality isn't up to par IMO to other brands but for an entry level sled I more than pleased. Feels very light, handles great, float well. Virtually no belt dust....clutches are super clean. Dislikes: Handle bars (should have straight handle bars on it). Throttle level is large and it is not as ergonomic as other brands. Engages a bit high. Plastics (I have blue) scratch and scuff easily. No stock storage....purchased Polaris bag and it looks and works great. Purchased Polaris mirrors which integrate into the overall sled and work great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value for a basic 2-up sled Bought the Indy LXT 550 Northstar Edition to replace our old 1999 Ski Doo 500 SLE. We travel. 10 mi/17 km over ice and portages on Georgian Bay to get to cottage ..slush, deep powder, glare ice we get it all. This sled is amazing. Fantastic rider position, flies in the open and picks through the winding trails with grace. The 1.3 inch/144 Cobra track is like a Sherman tank going up hills even with two up and loaded with supplies. The fat Gripper skiis float and steer exceptionally well. I hope that Polaris can match the reliability of our old Rotax 500 but reviews of the 550 seem solid. If you have varying conditions like us spend the extra bucks and get the Northstar Edition..well worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent ride quality, light weight I bought this last spring it was a great purchase ! Very happy as I bought it for ice fishing, back country riding in Ontario and taking my family out riding. The storage room is awesome for hauling gear to our camp. This winter I also tested it out in the deep snow and the 144 got through where other machines were buried. Many of my outdoor buddies were very impressed and are considering getting the same sled. For a 550cc it has an impressive amount of power. The handling is second to none.

I tried to buy the Yamaha 120 - which has handwarmers - but they were are sold out. the 120 Indy is a great sled, but it'd be better with handwarmers.

Voyageur® 155
Starting at $8,699 US MSRP

Off-trail riding plus utility.

2020 550 Voyageur® 155 is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 61.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Go anywhere! Purchased my machine in December with no regrets, this winter we had above normal amounts of snow fall which turns all the lakes to slush, I had no issues with the slush and the snow the deeper the better, pulled a road kill moose for 22km through snow and slush with no issues with power or traction. (no sleigh)Since I have purchased my sled 3 of my friends have bought the same after they seen it perform 1 even got rid of his 600Etec Skandic. "The more you ride this sled, the more you want to ride" 880km (no groomed trails) not one problem with the sled love the fan cooled can ride longer into season as temperatures warm up unlike the liquid cooled machines.
Date published: 2019-04-17
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good backcountry icefishing machine Hi, I bought this sled in December and have put it through it's paces, so far it has been able to break any situation I throw at it. I use the machine primarily around my property as a work/family sled and for ice fishing in remote areas. The low gearing also for seamless trail riding around my property and doesn't cause jerky stop/starts like previous sleds. For ice fishing, I used the machine to break trail into a backcountry lake. There is no trail to this lake, and I simply followed my GPS and allowed the voyageur's narrow ski stance, to weave me between trees, and around blow down. This is usually no easy task in 2-3' of snow but the voyageur's wide ski's and long 155" track made it for a reasonable adventure. In order to get where get to where I go ice-fishing, we have to take 20km's of groomed trail before we go off trail for another 80kms. The groomed trail performance has been excellent and I was more than pleased with the 60-70mph top end. The sled does push in the corners, but I expected that due to the narrow ski stance I have it set at, combined with the long track. I am interested to see if there is a larger windshield for this machine. On cold mornings -30, it would be nice to have a little larger windshield to hide behind. Another thing I think Polaris nailed was the articulating track. This has shown much promise when breaking the trail where no trail exists. Often times you have to back up to get around trees etc and the voyageur definitely can backup further than other sleds without the articulating feature. It still does tunnel down into the snow, but not nearly as quick as other models. I am happy with the features of the sled. I really like the wide skis and handle bars with mountain strap for leaning etc. I upgraded to the larger rack and storage bin and would highly recommend this to anyone. I also added saddle bags because there was no storage for extra gloves, oil, tools, fishing gear, etc. For areas of improvement, I am not happy with the running boards. This machine is built to break trails, fish, etc, yet the solid running board consistently build up with snow and ice. They also do not provide good traction when leaning or standing while breaking trails. For the added cost of updating the running boards, it would be well worth it. I also wish Polaris built a gas can to fit under the seat of this machine. By the time I get home, I am almost on empty and feel that the space under the seat could be well suitable for a spare 2 gallon custom gas tank. This way I would have the rest of my rack space for gear etc. Also, because the gas can would be under the seat, I would leave it there at all times and always have spare gas with me. I also think there should be a better system for opening the hood. The small silver clips are tough to operate when it's -30 out, with bare finger tips. I think either more straps that are down near the shock or like a vacuum style hinge that you could operate with gloves on. I have already lost 2 of the backers off these silver clips and now have to watch when I remove them to add oil that I don't lose them. If I lose one 80 miles from the truck it will be not make for an enjoyable ride home. If you can't change the clips, at least put a lock nut on the back side so they cannot pop off. That little barbed washer that they come with is not made for the user that is cold, tired and in a hurry. The last point that I am extremely frustrated about, which has nothing to do with the function of the machine, rather than the dealer, is the rebate that was on for the purchase of accessories. I was told prior to purchase, for every $400 in accessories I would receive $100 rebate. I purchased over $800 in accessories, I was told I was going to get $200 in rebates, but once the deal closed, I heard nothing but excuses from the dealer. I had to call and chase him down, and it wasn't until I provided email backup did he say he would look into it. I still have not seen any of my $200 rebates, which I had hoped to put towards a 2up seat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great sled with great trail/offtrail manners Best all around sled great for beginners, and great for advanced riders. The 155”s wide skies allow for great off trail performance. It also does great on trails and has good power. I groom 2 miles of private trail and even in a two foot storm I had no issue pulling my drag. I would love to see the 155” graduate to the Axys chassis with more updated controls not the controls pulled off an early 2000’s Indy like my 2018 has.
Date published: 2018-09-25
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great in deep snow I had this for the winter and was out in all kinds of conditions. We had about 4 ft of snow and I ended up being the one to have to break trail as all other machines got stuck. I did not get stuck once. It got through some very deep slush on the lakes. the wide skis make the turning radius wider that other sleds but the payoff is staying up on the snow. Trail riding was great as well, as long as I kept the speed down, again big skis and turning. I would recommend this to anyone doing open lake or deep snow sledding. If you are strictly a trial rider then I would pick something else.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice sled for the money I really like the sled but i was supprised to find a sticker on the sled that says that the machine was designed for 1 person only, when it is advertised as a 2 person sled. The suspension is really inadequate for 2 people. I am confused why polaris would promote this sled as a 2 up when really it is not. I had a problem with brake fluid leaking from the cap where you fill the brake fluid. I took the cap off and found there was a kink in the rubber seal where it was put on wrong. With all this said i still really like the machine. I wanted something fan cooled because i live on a lake and use it on the ice sometimes when there is not much snow. One other thing. The dealer told me that rear hand warmers were not available for this sled. I had a hard time with believing that so i searched the internet and found some. Not sure why a dealer would not know this.

Only problem was clunking in secondary drive on takeoff in forward or reverse, called dealer they accused me of being negligent with machine and only had 300 miles on it, I’m 66 years old not a teenager, but as usual its hard to find a dealer with any honesty, this is my last powersports machine, dealers are awful in my experience and i assume Polaris supports them for being that way. Other than that experience its a nice machine, like i said dealerships treat customers like garbage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from well worth the money I recently returned to snowmobiling after not riding for almost 20 years. I'm impressed on how well the snowmobile handled and how comfortable it was to ride 2up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great value and options . We purchased our Indy Adventure just last month , we had rented and test drive many other sleds before deciding on this snowmobile. Very comfortable and stable. We are very pleased with our purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from performs awesome When I bought this sled, I was actually thinking of a different model. This Indy was sitting on the showroom floor and was equipped with exactly the option package I was looking for, so I purchased it instead. I am extremely pleased with the performance and handling of my machine

INDY® Adventure 155

Rated 5 out of 5 by from snow float! I was the first to snowcheck this puppy in Sudbury ON, Canada in 2014. I did a cold start at -42C last season at my camp in Westree ON, with no issues. It paddles through slush with ease and it floats better than anything I’ve ever seen on snow. You have more than enough power to ride deep and have fun. The traction, the weight, the ergonomics and the reliability of this machine are nothing but awesome. This is the Swiss Army knife of sleds. If you ice fish, winter hunt or trap, this is hands down the sled for you. I’m in my 30’s, a father of two and my family and I love our Indy Adventure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great ride Bought this for myself after using my husbands wide track the previous couple of years. Handles great on and off trails. My daughter sits well in the rear seat and doesn’t slide forward.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks good Haven't ridden the machines a lot yet. But, they are nice looking machines and have performed well on the few trips taken thus far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You can go anywhere you want. Awesome snowmobile, lots of traction in deep snow, good amount of power and comfortable to boot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile sled I have had no problem keeping up with my "deep snow" buddies. Maybe not as fast as them, but have been able to go just about anywhere they go.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks good Looks like a nice machine. But, I did not get it from you until it was too late in the year. No snow to try it out. I won it one of your drawings.
