Rated 4 out of 5 by from Terrible lag and boggging This sled bogged out and lagged even on clean plugs. It needs a re map of the engine for sure. also your A arms are so soft my team went through 9. My skidoo buddies didn’t break one. You need to make them stronger. You also need a better key set up. It needs to be a tether key! You need a digital gas gage and not a manual one. You need a starter product that competes with the “shot” on skidoo! Use a mini turbo that fills from riding it or pulling it over. Use that pressure to run the starter. I really hope you take this serious. A lot of rider in Maine that love Polaris keep saying those are 1 priority for you to improve.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun snowmobile First snowmobile I snow checked and build exactly the way I wanted. I ordered a 155 chassis and removed the factory rear skid and track and replaced it with a 163 skid and track. (Hoping Polaris will pick up on this new trend) I also replaced the factory suspension with raptor kinetics. Then I added the Zollinger racer lite weight rotating mass kit and Kurt gear down. Then came the turbo. I chose the silber turbo for the price point and the reviews of how the kit ran with the new patriot engine. The axys chassis is proven and a world class starting point. I’d like to see Polaris set up the game and change the game with factory turbo and shorter chassis.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loving the 850 I have a 2017 800 rmk axys... absolutely love it.. it’s been completely bomb proof and wouldn’t trade it for the world. Have 2000 miles on it and 1000 of those miles have been tuned. The thing is a monster.... however i acquired my 850 in October and haven’t been able to ride it very often yet.... however this thing is a beast. Aside from being the best snowmobile chassis in the game... It pulls so much harder than any other 2 stroke sled I’ve ever been on... real happy with my 2020 850 so far. Can’t wait to get it in the deep snow this coming weekend. Thanks Polaris for making the best snowmobile on the market. Keep doing what you guys do every year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quick, light, responsive, easy to handle Very good sled.............., except motor mount an rear suspension sag. Motor mounts......., approximate 600 mile change out frequency is NOT acceptable. Needs to be addressed by Polaris and permanently resolved. Rear suspension....., when all four shock springs are adjusted as per Polaris manual and sled is sitting on shop floor with no added weight on sled there is a 2" sag. Stock scratchers......, are Have retro fitted Skidoo reversable dual spring scratchers that work great. Stock belt deflection......, should come from factory set properly, as per manual!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wish I had more time Unfortunately, was plagued with bad bog and decreasing performance on my first two rides of the season to point where I couldn't trust it in any climbing or deep powder situation without losing power and getting stuck. Dealer reflashed and switched primary weights (had high altitude weights for Michigan conditions). Got two abbreviated rides in after that and was certainly better but didn't get chance to push it and had a couple minor bogs on flat take offs. Runs good but doesn't have the arm stretching power I hear others describe. Wish I had more time and frankly, nervous going into next year with only 600 miles.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good in the deep snow I bought this RMK new in October 2019. I used it in Cooke City, Montana right after Christmas. It performed well in the deep snow, but on the packed trails to the "play areas" the engine temperature hit 200 deg. F. I put down the ice scratchers, and that took care of overheating. Back home in Minnesota, I had to use scratchers almost all the time, even in good snow. The sled needs more cooling. Also, the throttle is ultra sensitive, and its almost impossible to get a surge-free take-off, which makes riding in trees and close quarters tough. I changed the original mountain clutch weights to those recommended for Minnesota, but the abrupt and difficult-to-control take-off is still present. I've owned sleds since the late 1960's, and this is the most difficult for throttle control. I own a 2 stroke Yamaha with triple pipes, which has about the same horsepower as my new RMK, but it is very controllable around clutch engagement speed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible I bought the new 850 Polaris rmk and I am very dissatisfied with the way I've been treated from Polaris, I had trouble from the get go .!! It was hard starting from day one and Polaris did nothing about it, I had brought it in to the dealership 4 times before they tore it down and found a burnt bearing and a seal in the crank case was out, finally had it rebuilt ! Than got back and 3 miles in to my trip the engine light went on and the water pump went out and they tore it down again ! Have only 3oo miles on it not happy with 3 trips out west and couldn't hardly ride it and Polaris won't do anything about it !

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Absolutely love the chassis ! Absolutely love how the sled handles and goes in the right trees in stuff . That being said you guys have to do some work to the motor. This sled bogs so bad that it often causes me to get stuck in the worse situations . So much that I almost jumped ship on the 850 and went back to an 800 . I don’t trust this motor with all of the failures that Have happened , I have seen multiple seized motors on some of my buddies sleds when the sled is not bogging and not running right it is a powerhouse and flat out rips! I have a video of the sled bogging for like 45 seconds it won’t let me attach it below .
