Born and raised in the interior mountains of British Columbia, snowmobiling was a way of life for Brett and his family. Brett grew up learning about snowmobiles from his father in their family owned Polaris dealership. Attending local hill climbs and Sno Cross races were a large part of his childhood, which led to eventually signing his first professional racing contract with the Blair Morgan race team at the age of 13. After following the professional Sno Cross circuit for 12 years, he was awarded a silver medal at Winter X Games as well as “Rookie of the Year” honors on the WSA race circuit in 2008. From there, Brett refocused his efforts on a new challenge and began riding freestyle. With the new challenge came X Games success, with 1 bronze, 3 silver and 3 gold medals in freestyle.

When not training for freestyle Brett spends most of his time in the backcountry of British Columbia perfecting his big mountain riding and having fun producing film roles on his Polaris snowmobiles and Timbersled machines. Brett also enjoys spending time mentoring up and coming talent to help continue the growth of the sport.
